Dismissive of his current company, Andreas had been eagerly anticipating the arrival of his family and for now, any plans for business could wait. "Sebastian" he called out, having heard the heavy footfalls that could only belong to Ignacio or his son. "That you mijo?" Turning to address his 'meeting', Dreas waved a nonchalant hand through the air and instructed, "leave us", before standing to greet his son.

what was a peaceful smoke in an alley ended up being more than he signed up for, although just as he was about to move on to another spot he stilled, the scene in front of him had gotten more interesting. the dragon leaned against the brick wall, bringing the cigarette to his lips to take another drag. "yeah, actually, i did. do you go around kneeing kids in the groin often?"

He may have looked weak but he sure as hell wasn't. He had taken on guys twice his size and right now he was facing a similar situation. He had to open his mouth and stop a guy from harrassing someone else. As the other went to swing for him, Elias quickly ducked out of the way and grabbed the guy's arm, pulling it behind their back as tight as he could before dropping him to the ground. "Now," he said, kneeing him in the groin. "We're going to say sorry and run off," he said before pushing him away - a meek sorry coming out before they ran off. "Idiot kids," he said as he wiped his hand, noticing eyes on him. "Enjoy the show?" he smirked

LUCIFER | 1.01 “Pilot”

since the day he met her, he'd been drawn to her, wanting to figure her out. she made doing that the hardest task, and that only made him want it even more. he thought they'd made some progress and maybe they have but he couldn't stop his teeth clenching as she dismissed him. she was a fortress, a stronghold, so beautiful with all of her sharp edges. he knew those edges well, not only from their time together but because he had edges of his own, armor made to protect themselves. oaklee campbell was the strongest person he knew, and the most fragile, breaking in front of his eyes while trying to hide the cracks. he took in the sight of her, and had to look away, breaking their eye contact to take in a deep breathe to keep himself from biting back at her. "don't do that shit, campbell. the tour was like every other tour, and i'll tell you all about it after you tell me what's going on with you." seb scowled, his tone sharper than he intended. hearing them himself, he took another breathe before returning his dark hues to meet with hers once again. "who?" it was all he said, not needing to give anymore context for her to know what he was asking her, although he had an idea of who did this he wanted to hear it from her.

She had thought she was alone, that she had slipped out unnoticed, which had truthfully been wishful thinking considering the scene she and Abel has just made so when that familiar voice rang out, she could physical feel her heart skip a beat, hands shooting up to wipe at the tears that continued to fall. As always the mask was being put on, attempting to shield her features as she looks away from his direction but it was too late, he had seen and by the tone of his voice the second time he asked she knew he wasn't going to just drop it and so she turns to look at him, dark tear-filled doe eyes peering up at him as her lower lip protrudes ever so slightly in a pout and her brows creased downwards. Abel's words still echoed loudly in her mind and she couldn't help but feel as if her feelings didn't matter, as if somehow she was wrong for being upset that he couldn't even spare two days out of three hundred and sixty five to be here and celebrate not just her college graduation but their younger sisters high school graduation too. "I don't want to talk about it Seb," Oaklee answers, just because she knew he wasn't going to let it go didn't mean she wasn't going to try. "How was the tour? You have a good time?"

"and that's why you don't button up to your collar." sebastian cut in, eyeing his father who was currently cramming appetizers into his mouth. the young dragon scoffed, extending his arm and offering his hand in a silent greeting. "maybe later, you have at it though, but--give it here, old man. how the fuck have you been? missed me any?"

"I look stupid" Andreas grumbled, tugging at the top button of his collar just so that he could breathe. His grumble however was interrupted by the presence of a waiter offering appetizers; instead of just taking one the dragon pulled the entire tray from their grasp and began shovelling them into his mouth four at a time. "Yo" he spluttered, chewing obnoxiously "you gotta try this shit."

"here i am, and-- hey!-- watch it, fucker." he twisted in his uncle's grasp until he was able to weasel his way out. "the hairs all apart of that whole rockstar thing." he quipped, grinning as he ran his digits through his hair for it fall back into place. "why would anyone want to arrive to this on time? minus the free booze, this is the most boring party i've been to." almost as if on queue, the older dragon handed him one way to solve a boring problem. "you need to catch up, i've been pre-gaming." since about noon, but he wasn't going to mention that.

"There he is," Iggy mused, shit eating grin plastered to his lips as he approached his nephew, an arm rising to tug the younger dragon into a headlock. "Really taking the whole rockstar thing serious, aye? Always so fashionably late." A glass of whiskey is passed over as he releases the male, his own shifting into his grasp as he clinks it against the other glass. "Time for you to catch up," he taunts. "I'm a good few drinks ahead of you."

He picked up on it immediately, and he was more than happy to play along. "Sure; the one and only. You a fan?" He asked, shoving his hand into his pocket to pull out a light for her, a slight twitch of his eyebrow, subtling questioning her. He had to know if she's seen jagger yet.

God, her head was pounding. The hunger relapsing into her eyes, veins protruding beneath them as she steps outside. The warm sticky new orleans air, did nothing to calm the uneasiness in her twitching fingertips. Fucking Phoenix. The last thing they needed at this party was a emotionally rampant vampire. When she rounds the corner of stone pillars and steps down towards the garden, she pauses- catching glimpse of him. Guilt is surged through her chest, silence beknownst to both of them- and what they did. "Got a light I could bum? Sebastian, right?" She'll pretend she doesn't know him. Even to his face, for the listening walls and ears .

with how tense things were inside, he had not been surprised when he looked out into the gardens and spotted a head of familiar golden blonde hair. he stopped a nearby waiter with a tray of champagne, plucking up two glasses with a cocky grin painted on her lips and then headed back out into the gardens. "you would think world war three was about to start with the way people are looking at each other in there." he joked, a soft chuckle following only to be silenced once he was moved around the bench and could see her face, and the expression on it. "what happened?" his tone was cold, but his eyes had a fire in them. seb's digits twitched around the glasses in his grasp, wanting nothing more than to be rid of them so he could wipe the tears from her cheeks and cause pain to whoever did this. "oak, what happened?" he repeated once more, impressing that this was not going to be one of those situations where she can skirt around it like she usually does.

She knew from the start that coming to this ball was a bad idea and even more so now after her conversation with her brother. She was untethered emotionally, both angry and hurt by the things he had said in a short span of time had her storming out of the compound, hiding herself away in the gardens as she paced back and forth barefoot, heels grasped within her digits. "The actual audacity," Oaklee murmured to herself, features tear soaked as she halts her pacing and plops herself down on the nearby bench with a huff. "Actually unbelievable."

"shut your whiny ass up, we both know there's more here than just some liquor." the dragon shook his head as he teased jagger. seb had no problem acquiring top shelf liquor, they did not need some stuffy political party for that. no his reason for being here had more bite than any decades old bottle had. "that's all for the after party. oh wait-- shit, you didn't get the after party invite? that sucks man, don't worry, i'll tell you how it goes."

"We really came back from tour to attend some old timers masquerade," Jagger questioned, brows creased as he glances over at his friend. "I mean don't get me wrong, at least there's liquor, but come oooon. We could be back at the house chilling, smoking weed, and not having to wear a plastic mask and stuffy suits."

"friends? no offense bro, but you don't really look like her type. if you're wanting me to tell you where she is, you're out of luck. i don't believe in tracking dragons, especially not one i call mi tia."

"Zera was right, you are all a good looking bunch," he nodded, wondering how a single family could get hit with the good looking stick. Either way he didn't care enough to think more about it. "Ronan Parker, I'm an old friend of Zera's"

"hey! watc--" the warning was cut short as he rushed forward, pulled her back onto the sidewalk and out of the street and the way of the car that must be a tourist driving around with how fast they were going. he knew she was strong willed, almost too strong willed to the point where it made his teeth hurt but to walk out into the streets without paying attention had his blood near boiling. "what were you fucking thinking? have you ever heard of looking both ways first, or simply paying attention to your surroundings?" how stupid and reckless, he thought, and then another thought crossed his mind, why did it anger him? why did he care? if she wanted to risk her life than so be it, right? she wasn't his responsibility. this girl hated him and was not shy about it, and yet he couldn't let her get hurt.

She had stopped by Jesse's dads for dinner with the family, Abel's absence not going unnoticed by Oaklee and the uneasiness of Theodore's short answer when she asked of his whereabouts. Stopping my Marni's she had assumed she would find them both there but as luck would have it neither were there which only fueled her worry for her brother even further. She trusted Marni and the coven for the most part to not harm her family but with them both missing and Theodore's odd behavior she couldn't quite shake the feeling that something was terribly wrong. "Hey, you haven't seen Marni or Abel have you," Oaklee questioned as she moved through the streets in search for either one.
