you have this idea in your head that the only time you’re worthy of being loved is when you’re at your best. you’re still worthy of being loved when you’re at your lowest. you’re still worthy of being loved when you don’t want to go on anymore. you are still worthy of being loved even when you don’t love yourself. you are a human and therefore always worthy of being loved and don’t you fool yourself into thinking otherwise.

today a customer scolded me for putting too much ice in his drink. I just called his name so he did the whole "read my drink to me" so I read it and he said "it also says light ice and that's not light ice so do it again" (while I have a line of queued drinks around the corner and it's my first day doing main bar.....) anyway, usually when white people especially white men are rude to me it doesn't phase me because they're always bratty assholes but in that particular instance I almost cried. Idk why I guess because i was kind of just thrown on main bar without any warning or because I am vulnerable since I fought with my mom the other day or it could be because I felt like I was doing everything wrong or whatever. Idk.
