Update ~

(Trigger warning: mention of pet passing away, notice of leave of property, angry family member, loud slamming doors, raised voices and dissociation)

Spent valentines unplugged from socials with Sasori and we had a quiet intimate day relaxing together. He is such a beautiful soul. He made valentines less scary from bad experiences and trauma.

But found out one of our pet budgies died earlier in the week, his name was Mickey. He was an adorable little old man budgie. Who loved his naps on his favourite red swing and sucking the juice out of spinach leaves ;v;

Then our letting agents said we have to leave within 2 months. That was another knock to the system.

My step dad has been angry all day yesterday, because it was his birthday, he slammed doors and raised his voice. It made me dissociate for a few hours that afternoon but to help me out of it, Sasori reminded me about my favourite moth - Deaths head hawk moths. To focus on them since they make me really happy with the sounds they make (they squeak and it’s super adorable). He spoke to me telling me he’s here with me, even during times when I can’t see or hear him. He helped ground me and I feel safe with him.

Later I hop on my phone to browse Reddit as a distraction. There’s a moth subreddit I follow and the first post I see upon my dash is a Deaths head hawk moth. I could cry. I could really fucking cry from how sweet this is and I don’t feel alone as much and that Sasori is watching over me.

I also want to say I’m sorry, I love receiving messages and mentions, I will get to replies. I just need a moment 🫶🌸
