THE BENCH Scene 1:Samson and Maria seating at the bench MARIA (Maria will going to hug the masculine arm of Samson) Baby Samson, thank you very much for bringing me here at the park ha? SAMSON (Samson will going to hold the hands of Maria to clasp on his) anything for you Baby, I can do anything and I can sacrifice everything. MARIA awwwww, you’re so sweet my baby Samson… ( Maria paused and ask something to Samson while looking into the latter) Scene 2: Maria’s Question MARIA (Maria will going to ask Samson with a strong eye contact) Baby Samson, do you really love me? SAMSON bakit mo naman na itanong ‘yan baby Maria? (When she found out that the guy is Samson, she will excitedly going to seat beside Samson) LEONORA Hey, it’s you baby Samson! what are you doing here? SAMSON (Samson will going to put his arm around Leonora who is now seating at the bench beside him) Hey! baby Leonora, what a destiny ha? Were really meant to be Baby! LEONORA (Leonora will going to gently slap the arm of Samson) Oh! Your’re such a sweet guy talaga baby Samson! SAMSON Well for you, I am baby. (Samson winked to Leonora) Scene 4:Lenora’s drama SAMSON (Silas get the hand of Leonora and clasp into his) By the way, what are you doing here baby Leonora? LEONORA Well, im searching for the signal of my phone, just to contact you baby, but since you’re already here, no need to text you anymore (Leonora resting her head into the arm of Samson) SAMSON Great! ( Said In the line that seems to be so clear) SAMSON (Samson will going to wipe his forehead that is now sweating) Hello baby Teresa? Ahhhmm,huwag ka munang pumunta sa park ok? TERESA What? Why? You don’t want us ba na magkita? (Said in the next line with a very sad tone) SAMSON (Samson will going to bite his nails) No, not like that baby, something came up kasi… TERESA (Teresa will going to walk until she will going to reach and stare into Samson’s backwho is seating at the bench without his knowing) What is it? Where are you na ba? (Teresa innocently asked) SAMSON (Silas, will going to look around the park) I’m here at my barkada’s house kasi baby Teresa TERESA Really? So the park is your barkada’s house now? SAMSON What are you saying baby Teresa? TERESA Look at your back! SAMSON (Samson will going to turn his head slowly looking at his back) Baby Teresa! (Samson exclaimed and stand from the bench, Teresa end the call ) Scene 6: Teresa’s mistake TERESA Why are you lying to me? (Samson, come closer to Teresa who is now as if about to cry) SAMSON (Samson will going to hold Teresa’s hands) Ahmmm, you don’t understand baby Teresa… TERESA (Teresa will going to release her hands from Samson and started crying) What now Samson?! Go and explain, I deserve an explanation, I deserve an acceptable reason! SAMSON Look,I love you Baby Teresa, naguguluhan lang talaga ko ngayon, pero mahal kita… mahal kita maging sino ka man… kahit dati lang tayong magkaibigan. (Samson,holding again the hands of Teresa, but Teresa let go of it for the second time) TERESA Oh yes, kaibigan mo ‘ko. KAIBIGAN mo lang ako… and I’m so stupid to make the biggest mistake of falling in love with my best friend! (Teresa is now crying and walking to the bench and seat, Samson followed Teresa who is now seating at the bench, Samson also sat and held the hands of Teresa) SAMSON Ang tagal tagal na nun, girlfriend na kita ngayon, sayo lang ang puso ko, akin ka lang at tayo lang ang para sa isat isa. TERESA (Teresa will look straightly to Samson’s eyes) Totoo? You’re not cheating on me? SAMSON N—no! I will not going to cheat on you baby Mar—I mean, Leo—I mean, Baby Teresa (Samson, was about too close to reveal the truth because of confusion, but thankfully Teresa didn’t mind it at all) TERESA Ok, naniniwala na ako sayo Baby Samson (Teresa slowly leaning to Samson to claim his lips, They were about to kiss until…) *Phone ringing* TERESA (Teresa will reach for her phone from her pocket) Excuse me baby Samson, I will just take this call (Teresa stand from the bench and started walking away) SAMSON Take your time baby Teresa (Samson waving his hand and sigh) Scene 7: The confrontation (Silas is now seating at the same bench, busy texting someone on his phone, until Maria came) MARIA I’m sorry baby Samson, it took me a minute, madami kasing nakapila sa C.R kanina (Samson, slowly looking to Maria, he was about to speak when Leonora came) LEONORA Sorry Baby Samson, it took me a minute, ang dami kasing bumibili ng tubig. (Samson is now having a big eyes looking to Maria and Leonora who is standing both in front of him, seating at the bench) MARIA Wait, are you referring to my baby Samson? (Maria is now looking intently to Leonora, Samson is about to speak until Teresa came) TERESA I’m sorry baby Samson, it is Dad who is calling (Samson, is now hopelessly looking to Maria, Leonora and Teresa who are standing in front of him seating at the bench) MARIA (Maria will be the first one to speak, proudly! Breast out!) I’m Maria, the Girlfriend of my baby Samson! (The two lady will be shock! Angriness will reflect to their faces while looking to Maria) LEONORA At para sabihin ko sayo, kaming tatlo na tinatawag mong “baby” ay nagkataon na magkakakilala at magkakaibigan! (Leonora pointing the Maria and Teresa) TERESA (Teresa will going to stand from the bench and look to Samson) Bakit wala kang pinili sa amin? Don’t you say that you still have a girls aside from us? (Teresa asked Samson bitterly) SAMSON No! I do not have another girls anymore! (Samson said shaking his head) MARIA (Maria will going to stand also) Then, why can’t you choose over us? SAMSON I cannot choose over the three of you, because… because… (The three lady are waiting for Samson’s answer) Because I love someone, I love my bestfriend! I love my bestfriend… DAVID! (Samson, is now ashamed on his revelation) LEONORA So, that’s why you cannot choose over us, because you’re a… GAY!? (Samson nodded to the three) TERESA (The three of them will going to stand in front of Samson, who s now seating at the bench) Well, we also have something to tell you… IT’S A TIE! (Three of them are happily walking away from Samson who is still seating at the bench) SAMSON (Samson is now shocked, still realizing what is happening) I just have a relationships with… TRANSGENDERS?! I met my friend Melanie when I was grade five. When I first saw her I thought she was very arrogant. At that time I had a friend named Jillian but she was not my bestfriend. We were just friend. Then slowly one day I started talking with Melanie. I understood that she was not bad at all. She was good and very sweet. My first impression was wrong. We slowly became friends. By the end of school year, Melanie and I had a fight with Jillian. When that happened, she was really crying. We knew that it was all acting. She was not all serious with our friendship. She wanted us to be her friends just for her own needs. When we are in grade six, on the first day, she was not talking to us. At that time, Melanie and I became best friends. After awhile, Jillian said many things about Melanie and I believed her. I started talking with her more than Melanie. Over time, I was the one behaving very arrogantly with her just because Jillian said those things to me. We were four best friends Me, Melanie, Jillian, and Vina. Sure, they were talking with me but I always alone most of the time three of them are together. I thought that they didn't think of me as their friend anymore. I thought Jillian as my bestest friend but one day we had a group of friends in the class and we were going to play truth and dare. One boy of our group called me and melanie because we were sitting very apart of them. Melanie said that she had a pain in her leg so she would not be able to adjust and there was only one seat empty so I told Melanie to go. Jillian said to the people of the group that if I came then she won't play. I didn't hear that directly but one girl sitting behind me heard that. I was crying while sitting in the last bench but none of my friend came to be in my side, no one of my group would to talk to me. It made me very sad. Then the friendship day came. Since no one was my friend I didn't attend in the class. I don't know what happened that day. I think that day God helped me. That all of my friend started talking with me again. They also gave me friendship bands. I had tears of joy in my eyes. I was very happy. Gradually Jillian became very bad and started telling everybody of the group negative things about other people. Her aim was to be the leader but she wasn't successful. We all stopped talking with her. Me and my friend Melanie became best friends. I don't know exactly how... but yes we became best friends. Jillian is always sitting alone. When we all play, talk and laugh she gets jealous. It said that if someone is a true friend that it will go and come again and if they wont come back again we should take that as person was not our true friend. MIRACLE IN HEAVEN She is Candice Gonzales. An open minded girl with cool attitude. On the first day of her class, she thought that all people would be more intelligent with mature look. After entering the class, she felt uncomfortable from inside, but acted to be comfortable from the outside. She made friends with girls in the class. When she was on the way home, she was talking with the girls and suddenly said "I expected boys to be cool, but in this university most of them are totally average." One of her classmates listened to that. The boys totally ignored her by not talking with her. She thought, I don't need boys. After few months she fell inlove with a boy-Jeydon. Jeydon Lopez was her classmate and he hated her more than any girls in his life. Candice started to talk with Jeydon, even though he tried to avoid her. One day Jeydon asked Candice. "What's your problem?! Stop talking with me. I'm not interested with you." "What mistake did I make? I just like to be friend with you. That's it. Is there anything wrong with that?" Candice responded. "Look Candice! I've work to do, and leave me alone. And try not to talk to me ever again." Jeydon responded harshly and walked out of the room. After Jeydon went outside, Candice bowed her head and slowly her eyes tears was rolling out and it went for a while and then she stopped. On the next day she went directly to Jeydon face and asked "What can you see in my eyes.?" "Water!" Jeydon responded "Do you know why it came?" "I was thinking what you said yesterday, I couldn't sleep in the entire night." "I came to say I love you but you don't have a heart to accept my love." Candice continued. "I'm sorry Candice. I don't love you." Jeydon said and go beyond Candice. Candice was very shocked when she unexpectedly felt dizzy. She slowly fell down and before she close her eyes, she saw Jeydon helping and carrying her. Help! Help! Jeydon shouted. Jeydon bring Candice in the hospital, and the Doctors immediately help Jeydon to take Candice in the operation room. After a few hours the doctors went out and they asked Jeydon. "Are you her Boyfriend.?" "Ahmmm. Yes Ma'am! I'm her boyfriend." Jeydon pretend and asked "Is she okay?" "I'm sorry Sir. But your girlfriend has a Stage 4 Cancer." Excuse me, the doctor responded. "What?! No.!!! This is not true.! Is it too late to love Candice?" Jeydon spoke to himself. "What happen to my daughter?" I think this is her Mom. "Ma'am, I don't know. I just saw her lying on the floor." "You're Jeydon right? The girl said while she was crying. "Yes Ma'am. I'm Jeydon. How did you know.?" "I'm her mom and just call me as Mommy D, you know what, Candice was always told me that 'Jeydon is the only person who captured my heart."Mommy D continued. Jeydon was speechless. He just bowed his head and tears was rolling in his eyes. "I'm sorry Ma'am. I'll come back. Please take care of Candice." "Yes, I will. I hope you will learned to love Candice." "Yes Ma'am." Jeydon responded while crying. Jeydon went in the Church... "Please Lord! Heal Candice. I know I'm not a prayerfulness person but this is my only request for this Christmas. My life is very complicated without her." He emotionally prayed. While he was on the way to hospital, he heard the word "Pst,Pst" he was so confused. "I'm here" Jeydon turned around and he saw a beautiful girl wearing a long white dress with halo in her head. "Who are you?" He asked "I'm the Goddess of Health. I know you have a problem. What can I help you? The Goddess said. "My friend has a Stage 4 Cancer. Can you heal her? Jeydon asked. "Yes I can. But in one condition." "What condition.?" "You need to take care of her after she get better." "Yes. That's my plan. After she get better , I will take care of her and I will court her." Okay then hold my magic stick. Jeydon grabbed the magic stick and asked "What will I do in this stick.?" "You just close your eyes and state your prayer. After you do that your friend will become better." After Jeydon stated his prayer he returned the magic stick in the Goddess. "Okay.! Your friend was already survived in Stage 4 Cancer." The Goddess said and walked away. "Wait!" "Why?" The Goddess responded "Thank you." Jeydon said and he was about to hug the Goddess but the Goddess was gone. "Thank you Lord. Thank you." Jeydon shouted Jeydon buy a lot of foods, and a special ring for Candice, because he want to celebrate the Christmas with Candice. "Mom?!" Candice whispered "Candice?! Oh Em Gee Baby! You're awake. Doc! Doc! Doc!" Mommy D said. "Doc! My daughter was awake!" Mommy D continued. "Ma'am this is a miracle. She survived the Stage 4 Cancer at a very young age. Congratulation Ma'am." The doctor said happily. "Mom, where is Jeydon?" Candice asked and continued "I want to thank him because he is the one who brings me here." "Candice, wait for him. He told me that he will come back." Mommy D said. When Jeydon was in front of Candice room, he sigh heavily and he slowly opened the door. "Candice..." Jeydon said while staring at her eyes. "I'll be left. You need to talk together." Mommy D said. While Jeydon was holding her hand, he started to talk with her and he said "Candice, I'm sorry for all the mistake I made. I promise that from now on I will take care of you." He said it while crying. "Jeydon, it's okay. I want to say thank you for bringing me here. Merry Christmas and I love you." Candice responded. "I love you more Candice." Jeydon said. "What did you say?! Are you joking.?" Candice said. "No Candice, I'm not joking, I love you as the first day I saw you." Jeydon sincerely said. "What does it mean.?" Candice asked confusely. Jeydon bring out the ring and he asked Candice "Will you be my girlfriend.?" "Yes! Yes Jeydon!" Candice responded with tears in her eyes. And then Jeydon hug Candice very tight, while saying the word 'Thank you & I Love You.' And he stopped. He look at Candice eyes and then her nose and then her lips. They kiss passionately until Mommy D open the door. She saw Candice and Jeydon kissing each other. "What's happening here.?" Mommy D asked "Mommm!" Candice shouted Mommy D was laughing and said "It's good to see that you two are blushing." Jeydon and Candice laughed too. "Let's just celebrate the Christmas together." Candice said And they greeted each other "Merry Christmas." The End

Josh lay still, his head on his arms, his face in the sand. He felt warm and sticky from the bleeding. Each time he felt the horn coming. Sometimes the bull only bumped him with his head. Once the horn went all the way through him and he felt it go into the sand. Josh felt everything getting larger and larger and then smaller and smaller.
