Katsuki stood across from Deku, stretching his arms out as he watched the nerd get into a battle stance. He could tell there was definitely a passion lacking in the way Deku stared at him and it just irritated him further. “You better not fuckin’ hold back, Deku!” he yelled instead. 

Instead of saying anything more, he blasted off towards Deku with a series of explosions from his palms. 

           Woah, he wasn’t holding back. Izuku moved back quickly to dodge him, moving to try and get some hits in but they missed. He felt off, really off with this. His mind was elsewhere, all their battles but mostly from the raid still was dragging on him. He lost someone, someone he didn’t know well but he had promised he would save everyone, and he couldn’t. He didn’t. 

          Jumping and landing back on the ground, Izuku gave a soft pause in his movements. The other was going all out and he... he was just holding back. These emotions inside of him boiled within, sadness, anger, regret, guilt... 

          Why couldn’t he have saved him?! 

         Why couldn’t he have been there for Mirio and Sir Nighteye?! Why?! 

         Eyes closed and his hands moved into fists, when he felt like he heard Bakugou was when he opened his eyes and swung his arm super hard to try and hit the other this time. Full force, full speed but tears brimming at the edges of his eyes, ready to fall onto his cheeks.

         He’s staring at a holiday dress through a window of a shop. Debating if he should purchase it or not but leaning towards just walking away. It’s not like he’d actually wear it in front of anyone. But it is cute. He couldn’t help but just stand there a bit longer, shifting a bit where he stood. The sound of a small crunch could be heard as he stepped into a new spot of snow. His hands in his pockets to keep warm, bundled up from the cold weather.

           The grab of his hair made Izuku stop from moving where he was, he was about to go help a fallen hero but was interrupted. The grip the person had of his hair was strong, green eyes moved to look, his head straining to look at who had a hold of him. Only for his eyes to widen in shock at the sight of Tenya. The pro hero hadn’t seen his friend in a long time it felt like. Could he even still call Tenya his friend though? He had changed after the incident of Stain back in school. 

           Were they still friends? 

           No, the thought didn’t matter. 

           Why was Tenya stopping him? 

          “Iida-... Let go! That hero needs help!” He would ask why the other was here later. For now, his focus was back on trying to help the other hero. “He’s in pain and needs medical attention! I need to get him to the hospital!” Though he didn’t see any other enemies near by, maybe the villain who did this ran off?

          Izuku drew in a sharp breath, his head spinning with thoughts on how this outcome even happened. His wounds from the battle they had been in was being messed with by the blonde girl. 

          But, he wouldn’t break. He wouldn’t scream for her. He wouldn’t beg for her to stop. Even though his entire body wanted him to. It hurt, pain going through his body, his nerves telling his brain that what she was doing, hurt. 

         But yet, he only drew in deep breathes, held it and released. It was nothing compared to how many times he’s broken bones. Breaking bones was much more painful than his wounds being poked at. He wouldn’t give her the satisfactory of him crying out. 

         Though he couldn’t help each time his arm or leg trying to jerk away from her hands, from her blade. His head was bent down for a while before he raised it back up to look at her. He wouldn’t shed a tear. Green eyes just glared at her, teeth gritted together. 

         How long would this last? Was she enjoying this? What was going on in her head? What was she thinking about? What could he do to get out of this? What did she want?

         “You find this amusing?” He finally was able to get out. “What’s your end goal here? You trying to get a better reaction?” 

        He wouldn’t be that little crybaby like he was back then. 

         He was stronger now. 

         He wouldn’t break that easily.

Traitor Verse

Verse may contain darker themes, triggering material

The verse mostly follows canon, he got his quirk from All Might, got accepted into UA. Has become a lot better with using One for All. However his views of the hero world has been quickly changing and he found himself doubting the society they lived in. From the bullying and mistreatment, from how people are ranked from their quirks. Perhaps he started to see what other villains saw, the hero life was corrupted.

Something within Izuku snapped, he wasn't sure when it happened. But his personality did a 180, or perhaps he's all been like this but always subconsciously pushed it away because he wanted to be just like All Might. He noticed little things, things he made sure to hide away from the others. This possessiveness overcame him. This feeling of needing to be in control. He became the traitor that people talked about amongst the halls. He would give out information to the League of Villains and to other groups if it benefited him. Besides, it was always good to have someone on the inside, right?

Izuku does still seem happy, go-lucky, bright. But underneath that mask is a boy who's plotting, who's watching your every move, listening to every word that leaves that mouth of yours. He's someone you wouldn't see coming until it was too late, sneaky and clever he is. He uses his old personality to make others not suspicious of him. Until he's ready to strike.
