Black Sea LP by Xtc has never aged a minute and is really all that .The only possible thing that could have made it better is if it was Work Under Pressure LP
#I'm almost partial to 'working under pressure' but I can respect a vision that is clearly the primary and suited vision#Work under pressure > black sea#Holy . I hate the world . As much as I feel stuck in self-defensive violence I feel other arenas opening up; a book of poetry suddenly easier than ever, something true and real easier than ever, the impetus to do something &/or make something. In a way freer and more hunted at once. A lot of songs are coming to me & everything SEEMS easier than it has, although doing it might be hard as ever. I can list off four or five people easily that need to drink themselves to death within the year so they can never touch or speak to me again. And yet everything is opening up -- and on such a close & foggy night -- PARTING in a way that makes everything I want so incredibly within my reach .
