When you put God first, when you obey His commands, you open the door for His favor—you have the advantage for success! Even if someone has wronged you and it looks like they have the upper hand, even if it looks like things are never going to change, you need to keep reminding yourself, “I have an advantage. God is in control of my destiny. He’s fighting my battles for me. He is my vindicator, and it’s just a matter of time before things change in my favor.”

Because news cameras are apparently only there if looting and protests are mentioned, here are some shots from the march for peace in Charleston yesterday. In case you missed it, thousands marched to Ravenel Bridge, holding hands in prayer and unity. Yet this doesn’t make news, but an interview with the killer’s friend does. all photos from Twitter

Louis Farrakhan FULL Interview | Breakfast Club Power 105.1 | June 5, 2015 | FULL 1HR INTERVIEW
SIDE NOTE: Great interview very powerful but I don’t agree with or condone beating children for any reason. I wasn’t beaten as a child so I don’t agree with it at all.

PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!
I usually wouldn’t share something so vulgar but she asked to spread the story so I am informing you guys just to take precaution and be safe. Here’s the story of Kristina and Marcus Fox. The others are mentioned in the story:
On the morning of Saturday, May 30, 2015, my little brother, Marcus Fox, my daughter’s father, Darrius Walton, and myself were sitting in Taylor Lauridsen Parkconversing with 3 Caucasian people we had just met (Courtney, Kevin, and Jodie). Everyone was having a nice time. Approximately 7-9 more Caucasian people arrived in the park. My little brother being the social butterfly he is introduced himself and began chatting with the new arrivals. After about 30 minutes, one of the guys out of the group we initially met and another from the group that arrived later got into a verbal altercation with each other. My little brother tried to calm things down but this soon escalated as everyone began jumping on him. It was at this point things turned for the worse as he and I fought this massive group of Caucasians consisting of both men and women. They were throwing glass bottles, crutches, bricks, and anything else they could find at us. As we continued to fight through this crowd of assailants to get away, more Caucasians came from out of nowhere and joined in brutally attacking us delivering closed fist blows and kicks to our bodies and head. We began the fight of our lives. This MOB of around 20 Caucasians beat us until we were unable to move and left us laying in the park. My brother & I sustained multiple injuries. I was stabbed eleven times, eight times in the back & right shoulder, twice in the face & once in the head (which the knife was left lodged by one of the perpetrators). My brother was stabbed nine times, along his back, right side with one of the wounds causing him to have a punctured lung. NO ARRESTS have been made and the only publicity this received was an irresponsibly written 97 word article in the Chicago Sun-Times riddled with incorrect information. If the roles were reversed and had this been a mob of African Americans attacking two Caucasians this would have garnered immediate attention and been plastered EVERYWHERE. We have contacted news stations & have not heard back from anyone. This further proves that America believes- BLACK LIVES DON’T MATTER. Please HELP US GET JUSTICE for this hate crime! Please help us show that OUR BLACK LIVES MATTER! #BlackLivesMatter Please help us share our story.

When I am worried or anxious about something, I often write it down on a piece of paper. Then, below that, I write down every way God has been faithful to me in the last six months. By the time I finish that list, the thing I worried about suddenly seems very small. If God has been faithful to me in every other way, surely He will be again.

JESUS IS ENOUGH
No need to add or subtract from Him He is GREATER than everything that exists All else adds up to LESS than He He is the SUM of all things: - the infinite - the absolute - the constant Jesus is HOLY to the highest degree If we take Jesus out of the equation, nothing adds up Regardless of the good we multiply, how much we divide and share A part of us remains unsolved, a fraction of who we should be But Jesus is the answer, our common denominator Jesus – the product of God’s love A perfect combination of 100% God, 100% man Intersecting the arc of human history To be the difference, the solution we needed, the root of our salvation No need to add, subtract, multiply or divide Nothing greater than, everything less than Jesus is and always will be the solution to every equation When you do the math, the answer is clear JESUS IS ENOUGH

I’ve come to the conclusion, that nobody really cares about each other. You have a few selected souls that genuinely do, which is why when you have good people in your life, you should cherish them as they cherish you. But in a whole, no one cares. People just want you to do well so you don’t become a burden. Our society doesn’t allow space for creativity or a break to think without a stigma attached or the constant pressure to conform. Lol, after school there’s college, then university, then you’re expected to get a job and work for the rest of your lives and then die. But what if you want to chill and take things slow, after all it’s your life. What if you want to break the mould and spend a few years finding yourself. What if you take longer than others to balance yourself. Listen, as soon as you become burden, that’s when things start to turn for the worst. Nobody caring is the biggest inspiration for you to care for yourself. It’s a hard world out there, there are hardly any hand outs without agenda’s attached, you have to make it and take it for yourself. Dog eat fucking dog.

You give awesome advice so maybe o can get some. Years ago I thought I knew God but didn't obviously, living in sin was awful. But finally I wanted to get to Christ Ansley go of that garbage. But now I worry. Reading my bible I see people can't know God and live in sin and still come back to him. So is my faith real now or is it just me trying after something that I can't have anymore?
As I was reading your message, a quote I read a while back came to mind. It said:
You are not too dirty for God to cleanseYou are not too broken for God to fixYou are not too far for God to reachYou are not too guilty for God to forgiveAnd You are not too worthless for God to love
I feel like there’s someone out there that really needs to hear this: as long as you still have breathe, then it isn’t too late. Isn’t never too late. Okay?
Beloved, Scripture makes it abundantly clear that there is no limit to God’s forgiveness. Psalm 103:12 in particular notes, “As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.” In 1 John 1:9 we are also promised, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I love this verse because it tells us that when we confess our sins He not only forgives them, but also completely cleanses us. Why? Because He is faithful and just. As 2 Timothy 2:13 says, “If we are faithless, He remains faithful—for He cannot deny himself.”
Another great example of this can be found in Matthew 18:21-22: “Then Peter came up and said to [Jesus], ‘Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.’” Peter might have thought he was being generous; after all, many don’t even believe in second chances. But Jesus turned this thought completely on its head and made it clear that there is no limit to forgiveness with God.
It is true that even as believers we struggle with sin. The apostle Paul himself lamented over this battle in Romans 7:18-20: “For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.” However, like Paul, our response should be to hate the sin, repent of it and ask for the divine grace to overcome it (Romans 7:24-25). Grace should not be used an excuse to sin, but rather it should motivate us to fight temptation and seek to do what is right. “In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus” (Romans 6:11).
God bless you. :)
