Corrupt ZIP archive processing: a) 'Repair' command replaces packed and unpacked file sizes stored in local file header with sizes from central directory if local header sizes look invalid; b) file extraction is stopped at unpacked size stored in ZIP headers even if available packed data allows further extraction. It is done to prevent unexpected hard drive space usage. 3. Ctrl+C allows to abort RAR 'l' command quickly. In previous versions it could take several seconds until list command stopped. 4. Bugs fixed: a) WinRAR could crash when attempting to display some types of archive comments in GUI shell, resulting in a denial of service; b) if 'Save archive name' and 'Add to context menu' options were set in compression profile parameters and profile was invoked from Explorer context menu, WinRAR proposed an automatically generated archive name instead of name saved in profile. c) WinRAR displayed an unneeded pair of round brackets in 'Archive' column of 'Diagnostic messages' window for system error messages; d) 'Extract to folder' Windows Explorer context menu command could fail to unpack ZIP archives if their names included a numeric part followed by .zip extension, arbitrary data was present before the first file record and 'Remove redundant folders from extraction path' WinRAR option was switched on; e) in 'RAR x -x<mask> arcname' command, parent folders of files matching the specified mask also were excluded from extracting; f) 'Find' command returned the current folder own name additionally to its contents for 'Current folder' search area if folder name matched 'File names to find' mask; g) if 'Find in files' and 'Find in archives' are both enabled, 'Find' command did not match an archive name itself against 'File names to find' mask after searching inside of archive. So it did not display archive names for masks like *.rar and applied this mask only to files inside of archives; h) when running an executable directly from archive, WinRAR 5.70 did not set a temporary folder with unpacked files as current. So executables attempting to access other archived files in current folder could fail to work; i) WinRAR could be inaccessible for few seconds after closing an archived file opened in internal viewer in Windows 10; j) dragging a file to subfolder of ZIP archive with 'Store full paths' option enabled produced invalid pathnames consisting of repeated subfolder name. Same invalid pathnames were produced if adding files to ZIP archive with -ap<folder> -ep2 switches.

The Fat32 format can be used – read or write – with both Mac and Windows PC and because of this, it makes the device more versatile.

The exFAT format will not give any limitations on the file size that you are going to store on your flash drive and you can still use it on both Windows and Macs that are running in Mac OS X Snow Leopard or later version. Running Dash Core for the first time¶
To run Dash Core for the first time, either open Launchpad or browse toyour Applications folder in Finder. Double-click Dash Core orDash-Qt to start the application. You may see a warning aboutopening an app from an unidentified developer. To resolve this problem,simply Control-click the app icon and choose Open from the shortcutmenu, then click Open again in the dialog box. The app is saved asan exception to your security settings, and you can open it in thefuture by double-clicking it just as you can any registered app.
The first time the program is launched, you will be offered a choice ofwhere you want to store your blockchain and wallet data. Choose alocation with enough free space, as the blockchain can reach 10GB+ insize. It is recommended to use the default data folder if possible.

Dash Core will then start up. This will take a little longer than usualthe first time you run it, since Dash Core needs to generatecryptographic data to secure your wallet.
Synchronizing Dash Core to the Dash network¶
Once Dash Core is successfully installed and started, you will see thewallet overview screen. You will notice that the wallet is “out ofsync”, and the status bar at the bottom of the window will show thesynchronization progress.

During this process, Dash Core will download a full copy of the Dashblockchain from other nodes to your device. Depending on your internetconnection, this may take a long time. If you see the message “No blocksource available”, check your internet connection. When synchronizationis complete, you will see a small blue tick in the lower right corner.
You can now begin to use your wallet to send and receive funds.
Encrypting your Dash wallet¶

You should use a strong, new password that you havenever used somewhere else. How To Set Up And Use Google Drive For Mac?
With Google Drive, you can create and edit documents online. But if you rely on Drive for files backup and sync, it’s much more convenient to use the app. To start using Google Drive on Mac, the first thing you need is a Google Drive account.
How to create a Google Drive account?
If you have an account on any of Google services, like Gmail, YouTube, or Google Play, then you actually already have a Google Drive account.
Simply log in to a Google Drive website or app with your existing credentials. Or create a Google account for free by following these steps:
Go to google.com/drive and click on the blue Go to Google Drive button

Google Drive tab manages the connection between your Google Drive folder and the cloud. This is where you go in case of Google Drive not syncing. To sync Google Drive folder with the cloud, make sure you’re signed in to your Google account.
Settings tab gives you options to have Google Drive automatically launch when you log in to your Mac, show confirmation messages when shared items are removed from Google Drive, and upgrade your storage to another plan.
How to use Google Drive on Mac?
Now that your Google Drive setup is complete, you have access to this additional storage for you to do as you wish. However, one of the best uses would be to link your Google Drive to multiple devices — for easy access from all of them.

You can mount a ‘Google Drive’ onto you Mac, it’s a neat cloud based storage solution from Google. The Google Drive sits on your desktop. It looks like a regular hard drive and the contents of the folder are automatically available to anyone else who has access to the same Google Drive.
Google Drive is similar but different to dropbox. When you move a file into dropbox the file is moved into dropbox, like you would expect if you were moving a file into a different folder. (The file is not copied, it is moved.) But when you drag a file into your Google Drive it doesn’t move the file, it creates a copy of the file. It’s more like copying the file to a thumb drive.

Because of this difference in the way they behave, Dropbox feels like it’s a folder on your computer like any other folder, it just happens to be shared with others. But Google Drive has a different feel. It feels like a foreign hard drive that is out there in the cloud and you happen to have access to it from your computer. Each have their advantage, and I use both.
Another big point of difference is that Google Drive requires an active internet connection. Last week our internet was down, and I went to access a file in my Google Drive, and I could see it, but not access it without a web connection. Dropbox syncs the 2 folders completely, so they are available offline as well.
We use Google Drive to share documents across our organisation. I use dropbox to share files that I am working on across my own personal computers. I find it really useful to have this distinction in my head. Files that I want to share with other people – Google Drive. Files that I want to share with myself – Dropbox. Of course, you could use these tools any way you want but that’s the way I have found myself using them.

Setting up Google Drive
Download the Google ‘Drive File Stream’ App from here:

2. Install the app and enter your Google G-suite username and password.
(To use Google Drive you must be part of an organisation. Google Drive syncing is through some software called G-suite.) This is free to non-profit organisations but if you are a commercial organisation you will need to subscribe to it.
The Google Drive will now appear on your desktop something like this:

In your Google Drive will be a folder called “My Drive”
My Drive has your own documents in it. It’s similar to dropbox. You can keep this folder private or you can choose to share it with other members of your organisation, or you can use it to share documents publicly on the Internet.

The ‘Team Drives’ folder only has folders that your organisation shares with you. Your administrator will give you access to the folders that they want you to access. You can be given full access to edit files and add new files or you can be given read-only access.

Part 1 of this series looked at how to connect a computer to a remote network using VPN. This article continues the discussion of VPN services for Mac OS X from the opposite perspective, that of configuring Mac OS X Server’s VPN service. The VPN service of Mac OS X Server supports both the L2TP over IPSec and PPTP protocols commonly used by both Macs and Windows PCs. It also integrates with Open Directory, enabling you to configure VPN access based on individual users and groups as well as offering various additional security and authentication methods.
To configure the VPN service, launch Server Admin and select VPN in the Computer & Services list for the appropriate server. If you are using NAT on your network, remember that the VPN server must have a public IP address to accept connections from outside your network as well as an internal IP address. Also make certain that the ports for the appropriate VPN protocols (1701 for L2TP, 1723 for PPTP) are open in your firewall configuration. After the VPN service is configured, you use the Start Service button in the Server Admin toolbar to start the VPN service.
As you can see in Figure 1, the VPN service contains four primary panes for which there are tabs at the bottom of the window: Overview, Log, Connections, and Settings. Overview enables you to see the status of both VPN protocols and the number of connections. Log allows you to view the VPN service log. Connections displays information for all current VPN connections, including the user who is connected, the remote IP address from which they are connected, the internal IP address assigned to them by the VPN service, which VPN protocol they are connected by, and how long they have been connected. The Settings Pane, which is shown in Figure 1, is where you configure the VPN service.

Configuring L2TP Access
The VPN Settings pane includes four tabs: L2TP, PPTP, Logging, and Client Information. The L2TP and PPTP tabs allow you to enable and configure each of the two VPN protocols (you can opt to use either or both protocols). The L2TP tab, shown in Figure 1, includes a checkbox to enable the service as well as a starting and ending IP address field and radio buttons for selecting an IPSec authentication method. As discussed in Part 1 of this series, L2TP offers additional security over PPTP by allowing the server to ensure that the computer requesting a VPN connection is a trusted computer by the use of security certificates or a shared secret (a string of text entered on both the server and remote computer).
If you are using a shared secret instead of a security certificate for L2TP, enter it in this field. If you are using a shared secret, remember to make it as secure as possible and to change it on a regular basis (informing users that connect using L2TP) as a precaution against the secret becoming available to individuals other than authorized VPN users. Using security certificates, which can be generated using the General Server information pane of Server Admin is inherently more secure than using a shared secret. If you choose to use a certificate, select the appropriate radio button and then select your certificate from the pop-up menu.
The IP address fields are used to assign the IP address pool for each protocol. These IP address ranges function much like a DHCP scope and are used to assign internal network IP addresses to each computer that connects using VPN. You must create VPN IP address ranges that are unique from your DHCP scope(s) and static IP addresses to avoid IP address conflicts within the network. You should also make certain that you assign ranges large enough to accommodate all the VPN users that you need to support.
The PPP Authentication pop-up menu allows you to choose what method will be used for verifying users’ names and passwords when they attempt to establish a VPN connection. You can choose to use either Kerberos or MS-CHAPv2. Kerberos is a more secure option, but it does require that your VPN server and remote computers be bound to the same Open Directory domain and that Kerberos be properly configured for that domain to function. MS-CHAPv2 exchanges usernames and passwords in solidly encrypted form and is more broadly supported and can be easier to troubleshoot. If you are supporting Windows PCs as remote computers, you should choose MS-CHAPv2.
