I'm sorry I got to this so late! I still have more thoughts in the back burner that I've yet to organize, but for now I hope I tide you over with these. They'll be updated once I sort out those thoughts. Under the cut for length!

•Kei and Hitoka are a textbook case of opposites attracting but they find common ground in a profound sense of mutual respect for one another. Kei knows Hitoka has a good head on her shoulders, but that potential is hindered by her insecurity.

•Kei stands as the proverbial brambles to Hitoka's rose and where one lacks the other makes up for. Kei's a little prickly, and his words are biting, but Hitoka is given the privilege to see above and beyond that, not because Kei gave her leeway but because Hitoka is attuned enough to how his personality works that she can see through his thorny exterior. Akiteru takes notice of this during the Shiratorizawa match, and I'd like to think that Hitoka is Kei's first real friend aside from Tadashi. Shoyo and Tobio's status as friends are rectified a little later.

•Additionally, I think Akiteru is the one who notices first that something's different with his little brother. Then Tadashi. Kei comes around with his feelings, but it takes time for him to warm up to the thought of confessing.

•Shoyo only comes to the realization one day that Kei and Hitoka have something going on when, during a tutoring session, he thinks he grabbed Hitoka's notebook, but it was Kei's. Shoyo's spent a good chunk of time mesmerized over Hitoka's notes that he probably knows her note taking style by heart (and has probably also implemented it into his own) so color him surprised when he finds Kei's usually minimalistic notes bursting with colors and doodles in the margins.

•Hitoka just has a very positive influence on Kei. People can tell he mellows with her around, and Kei's bit back so many insults in the company of the idiot duo, because even well into their third year, they still come to Hitoka for tutoring sessions. Hitoka scolds him halfheartedly when his insults ignite Tobio and Shoyo's tempers, but she knows he still doesnt want to see them fail.

• I can see Kei having a preference for slightly smaller and delicate women. Kei admittedly was never Hitoka's first choice, but she grew attached to him the more he let his walls down around her.

• This is not to say that Kei and Hitoka's relationship is a flowerbed of fragrant blooms. They have spats borne from the inherent clash of their personalities, but it's the type that's all let out in a big heated rush that mostly consist of Kei walking off to clear his head, and Hitoka trying her luck by approaching him with teary eyes and a quivering lip to explain her side of the argument. Kei can never stay mad at her for long and Hitoka detests conflict.

Omg, what do you think of Kageyachi + Hinata as the family in Spy x Family?

Sorry for my very late reply nonnie!! I didn't ignore your message but when I first got it, I didn't have any good idea about this topic. Besides, I barely have any time to spare cause of my tight courses schedule. 😔😔

Buuuut it's the time!! Hehehe ( I'm not good at this so please don't expect too much 😅🙏)

Kageyama is a spy, code name - “blue claw”. ( it's the best name my poor brain can figure lol )

Yachi is an ordinary girl who inherits the family bakery shop, which is going to close down because of insufficient money. Her father died in the war, and her mother recently died of heart disease. (omg what did I do, my poor baby yachi ) She lived alone using her father’s pension, but not enough to keep the shop ongoing open.

Kageyama, a(n) (fake) archeologist, (manage himself to) appeared at the shop and happened to know the situation offering to help with the money and asked Yachi to fake married him -- (he lied that) rumor has it that there are a lot of spies in the city, and a bachelor like him may be suspected, which makes it difficult for him to do his work.

The two of them pretended to be couples for the sake of both sides.

Hinata, Yachi’s childhood friend, is a secret police—went back to his hometown ( after a long mission) and found his best friend (which he secretly has a crush on) married!! Yachi told him the story. He don’t trust Kageyama and starting track down the black-hair guy.

Ok. The whole story may doesn’t make any sense, because like I said, I’m not good at it buuuut I hope you enjoy it 😅😅
