Hey, unpopular opinion, apparently. But people don’t just “have pain for no reason” doctors say this all the time (especially to women and chronically ill people) and the truth is, Thats literally not possible. Even if your pains are psychosomatic (a word I hesitate to even use because of the way its used so often) there is a reason you are having those pains whether its mental illness, abuse, etc. If your doctor consistently tells you that “well some people just have pain for no reason” get a new doctor. That’s a doctor who is not going to give a shit what your actual symptoms or experiences are.

lace (thank u auggie for the name!! i luuuuuv u!) has chronic fatigue. since theyre typically bed ridden, they became a graphic designer! but even then, they still had issues moving around and doing work. here’s a message i sent to august talking abt them!:

im gonna make lace be a graphic design student with chronic fatigue! they got into drawing and other things due to being normally bed ridden. theyre agender (ae/they/it) and are pansexual with a preference for masculine people (boys)! their hair typically covers their eyes, but they do wear a hairband that will pull it all back! they prefer it in their eyes because they’re insecure about their eye color (pink)! their hair is a soft peach and is a large (wide) bob! they typically have it down with two buns or just down!lace probably only pulls their hair back around friends/people they trust!!

they typically wear cardigans, sweaters, collared shirts, skirts, shorts, thigh highs, and dr martens! they’ll also wear beanies, chokers, garters, and theyre very open to trying out new fashion styles! they typically just stick with black, pink/peach, and white tho! :3c theyre extremely pale so the black really sticks out on them!

What's Lace's friendship with Neo like?? :0

lace and neo probably hang around neo’s house/apartment in his bed!! mostly with them hunched over laptops and goofing around, showing each other funny videos! they probably like watching horror movies together!!! lace is a horror movie fanatic and loves all things scary, while neo is actually quite afraid of it!! neo tends to cling onto lace while watching them!!!

neo normally comes off as intimidating and the nothing scares them type, but hes deathly afraid of paranormal things!! hes had bad experiences with them and is frequently scared. they take extremely strong anxiety medication to help with this! theyre constantly anxious and are scared of something coming to get them!

whenever neo and lace watch horror movies together, hope (neo’s friend and caretaker) turns off the lights, turns on a lamp, surrounds them in a few blankets and pillows, and gives neo his stuffed animal! neo also needs a water bottle; when theyre anxious, they just DRINK SO MUCH FUCKING WATER. it’s been a habit for most of their life! it’s actually… pretty healthy but they tend to use the bathroom a Lot!
