Rewatching Halloween and for some reason I never really noticed that Michael is very physically unintimidating just at first glance. Like discounting the scary mask and behavior, he’s just kinda tall and that’s it. He’s pretty slim (most noticeable in the shot where he’s walking along a fence following a kid) and while we see evidence in the movie that he’s very strong, his appearance doesn’t really reflect that. Just think it’s interesting.

Sure since adopting self checkout they got rid of 99% of grocery workers and if something goes wrong you gotta just stand there for 20 minutes while the employee managing 30% of the store singlehandedly tries to juggle helping you with their other responsibilities.
