Desperately need DC to (re)start doing that thing they used to do where you have a Roy story narrated as if it's something he's telling to Lian. Yeah she's a lot older now so it wouldn't be bedtime stories like I think is intended to be the idea in the older ones but come on don't tell me you've never tried to wheedle stories out of your parents especially as an excuse to delay doing something you don't want like homework or chores??

They lost so many years together.... I said before that I want a series of them navigating how to be father & daughter again and I stand by it but hear me out: a series that's just them exchanging stories... Roy telling Lian stories... Lian telling Roy stories... I want to see panels where it's obvious that one of them is glossing over what's actually happening on panel: Roy in self-censorship and Lian because she doesn't want Roy to fuss... Parallels in their storytelling styles....

Maybe culminate it with a story that they're telling together... to Jade or Dinah or Hal... competing narration boxes and both of them are telling a different story than the art sometimes....
