HE WASN’T QUITE SURE WHAT TO SAY, although he was aware that was because the both of them were quite possibly the most socially awkward pair in their class, unfortunately. ❝Yeah… It’d be cool.❞ He echoed, nodding. ❝It’d be good practise, too.. Maybe we could do hand-to-hand or something, my skills are lacking.❞

❛   hand to hand?  ❜   you repeat, almost a bit too excitedly. a tinge of pink rises to your cheeks at your almost reveal of a hint of excitement. way to go, miku.   ❛   i-- that’d be great, honestly! it’s quite rare for someone to offer hand to hand combat. people always liked to train with me with their quirks, but i do suppose that fighting without it should be practiced too, since there are, y’know, instances that they may not be useful or cancelled, say if someone like aizawa-sensei came over to attack they’d be dead without their quirk usage--- oh, if that makes sense! sorry for elaborating too much, i guess i, er, was just a bit... excited.  ❜

It’s apparent from her sudden doe-eyed expression that she hasn’t even considered her words sounding in a negative manner. So, his tired eyes are maybe in the same way her cheeks are permanently tinted pink? A family gene?   “   Oh! I’m sorry, I didn’t meant that in a bad way!   ”   Her hands move in nervous, sheepish movements in the air.    

❛   i know you didn’t. ❜   seeing her frazzled expression, you try to reassure her gently. the same stoic look remains on your face, words followed by a small sigh.  ❛   i apologize if that came out a bit hostile. i guess i just got a bit tired of being told the same thing---- but, it’s all right. i guess i do look a bit too tired with how i look.  ❜  a small finger lifts, pointing out to the rosy cheeks that she had   ❛   i suppose a bit similar to how i can assume you’re always flustered? those pink tints never go away, i’ve noticed.  ❜

They’re noodles.” She’s not dumb, she knows that the one before her is probably questioning about the bag that has some weapons sticking out the top of it, but for this one time, she will play the dumb and clueless card. “They’re a little cold though. ❛   ...cold noodles. ❜   you echo, voice tinged with a hint of confusion. now as much as you’d like to question the other for carrying such an odd thing, you chose not to. however, you’d lie if you’d say that it didn’t blossom even a small ounce of suspicion.  ❛   i guess not. why in the world are you carrying around cold noodles?  ❜

mikumo and katsuki have an awfully close relationship… they hold hands, they kiss each other’s foreheads, they’ll sleep on the same bed, but it’s all in the matter of platonic senses. they have no boundaries and it literally leaves people questioning on their rs, but they assure everyone they’re merely close friends.

though miku seems like he isn’t reciprocating the best friend title to katsuki as katsuki’s heavily affectionate towards miku, they do. they’re simply a bit off-standish however, they genuinely love katsuki a lot and are forever grateful for him. he loves him by all means since he’s helped them go through so much and they’re forever grateful for that and would be severely upset if they ever lost touch. having a friend since childhood isn’t an easy find.

though the downfall of their relationship always is always in the matter of mikumo being heavily self destructive and reckless, which angers katsuki as ‘ he could lose him ‘ in which miku argues with ‘ it’s what a hero does, if i die trying then i die trying. at least my death wouldn’t be in vain. ‘ another thing that’s made their relationship shaky is the fact that miku, too, wants to aim to be the #1 hero, to which katsuki explicitly shows. 

these feelings of pride and resentment that bloomed unnecessary tension between the two is cleared up after what’s similar to katsuki and izuku’s kacchan vs. deku 2, wherein they both fight after the hideout raid arc, and katsuki admits that he feels unwanted feelings of anger in him with yamikumo getting better and he is admittedly threatened, but he is also angered by the idea that their relationship is getting strained just because of his pride. they come to an agreement where a proper rivalry should be set, and no way would they trade their friendship for something as dumb as a hero ranking.

❛   now that’s an improvement.  ❜   there’s a tight grip on the scarf given to you, a determined glint burning in your eyes.  no fear drowns your heart despite being so young,  a hero was always ready to fight, no matter what the situation given.    ❛   i’ll follow afterwards. while they’re distracted i can attack unexpectedly and that could give us the upperhand, sound good?  ❜
