The family of Georgina Lisette came from a household of full-blooded wealthy Chinese, the Liang-Uys, who are well-known for their silk trading business back in the days.
After years of living with the Uys in Shanghai, China, Gina decided to flee to the Philippines, where the Liangs are residing, with her eldest daughter, Vegara. Gina then gave birth to a healthy baby girl after they landed in the Philippines, she named her Líng Měi.
Líng Měi grew up with her mom, sister, and her cousins. She welcomed her adolescence life without a father figure. The only times she has heard about her father was from her sister. She knew from Vega that her father was abusive, even from the story itself, Líng Měi got traumatized, but felt somewhat lucky that she didn't experience it firsthand.
Even though her mom wasn't really present all the time because of Gina's line of work, Vega and her Guama didn't fail to raise her to a wonderful kid she is right now. She sees Vega as her second mom, as she is the one who taught her so many things aside from her Guama.
