"Is your job always like this?"

Nothing says a casual Thursday like an unexpected stand user barging into Jotaro's life and causing chaos — which, to his annoyance, stand users are REALLY damn good at doing. It's nothing he's not used to at this point, of course— if he had to wager a guess on how many people hated his guts, he'd end up dizzy from counting. It really wasn't a big deal at this point.

The real struggle, however, is when OTHERS get caught up in the crossfire— and this most recent scuffle was no exception. Today's 'asshole of the week' attempted to break bad for several locals, including a woman around his age— a fellow stand-user, but one he'd only seen in passing.  There's always a bit of a relief found in protecting a fellow stand-user — it certainly makes explaining how a man was somehow beaten to smithereens out of nowhere a hell of a lot easier. As he idly checks on the condition of the non-stand-users in the area, the woman's sudden question causes him to tilt his head back.

The man's icy stare works remarkably well for an answer in its own right — calm, composed...  but glaring in a way only expressed by those who get this question often.

At last, he speaks.

"...SOMETIMES IT'S WORSE. Today was pretty tame."

giggling at the idea of sdc taking place in the modern day and jotaro and kakyoin having a co-op hardcore minecraft server. their dynamic would be literally the most horribly imbalanced set of responsibilities between the two of them thatd piss 99% of other players off but neither of them really care at all. jtro sucks at games but he does like the fishing and kak's just trying his hardest to make sure jtro doesn't ragequit which means he'd have no one to play with anymore. my hands look like this (covered in blood) so my friends hands can look like this (holding a fishing rod)
