Where after Mito gets custody of Gon, Ging still comes by and spends time with Gon whenever he can. Sometimes he stays for the day, sometimes for months with varying amounts of time between his visits.

And it’s not like he’s trying to be a ’father’, but he does want to be a part of Gon’s life (he acts more like a close uncle than a parent and Gon calls him ‘Ging’ instead of dad/ father)

anyway so maybe one time when Ging’s on whale island (and Gon’s like, 4/ 5 or something) Mito finds out Ging actually kinda sorta has responsibilities?! within the hunter organization?!? so naturally she scolds him for never going to Zodiac meetings and then tells him that if he doesn’t attend the one he’s just been called to, he can’t take Gon fishing that weekend.

So Ging agrees to go but, because he’s a little shit, he secretly takes Gon with him. Gon falls asleep on the way to the hunter headquarters so Ging just sorta tucks Gon up under his clothes and carries him?

Cluck: Divorced?

Ging: Just so you know, it’s totally amicable. We’re fine. We don’t need people here to take sides.

Pariston: The last thing we want is any kind of drama.

Cheadle: Wait, I - can you back up? What’s the story?

Pariston: We were having a beautiful weekend in the Poconos. We were making love constantly. We saw the sun rise, and Ging was crying a lot.

Ging: That’s not a relevant detail.

Pariston: And in the morning, we walked by a chapel, and we stopped suddenly, and Ging said…

Ging and Pariston: “I don’t think I should be married to you anymore.”

Piyon: Sorry, when did you get married?

Pariston: Um, like a week ago. We got really wasted and it just felt right.

Piyon: And you didn’t invite any of us?

Ging: We are getting divorced, Piyon! This is such a raw time!

Pariston: God, baby, you know with people’s reactions to this, I wonder if we made a mistake.

Ging: No. With the messed up laws in this country, I don’t wanna be married until everybody can be married.

Cheadle: You know what, Ging? I talked to the other lesbians, and we’re okay with it. We all agreed it’s fine for you to get married.

Ging: No - no Cheadle, not until everyone can.

Pariston: Ging, I changed my mind.

Ging: Fine, okay, you know what? This actually isn’t amicable at all, and we actually do need people to take sides. Who’s on my side?

(Nobody raises their hand.)

Throwback….Tuesday

Lol…. sorry.

It is just that today is the two year anniversary of when I finished writing Endgame. (link at bottom)

Even after all this time, I still think this is one of my better fics.

The plot revolves around Arthur Maxson and his perspective as he grows from the kid we see in Fallout 3, through his formative years and the events of Fallout 4, until finally, he ends up alone in a room with his thoughts and regrets, accompanied only by the sound of steady thumping.

Along the way he has several key relationships, and they are frequently tragic. Among them are the Lone Wanderer, Ellen, and the Sole Survivor, Lena.

But at the heart of it, this is a story about Arthur and Danse, and how their relationship grows and changes over the years. Their friendship, caring, love, loyalty, and sacrifice for each other is sometimes sweet, sometimes smutty, and sometimes tragic, and it never goes the way you expect.

Okay, well I get worked up about this, sorry! But like I said, it is two today, so I wanted to post about it. I know lots of people have read it, and thanks so much for all the comments and kudos I have gotten over the past two years.

For anyone who hasn’t read it, please check the tags. This is an angsty fic which has sexual content, violence, and major character death.
