환상과 꿈은 어떻게 다를까? 환상을 가진 것과 꿈꾸는 것은 어떻게 다를까? 

한 가지 분명한 것은 환상 없이 사는 삶이 가진 성실한 묵묵함, 쉽�� 정복 당하지 않는 강인한 중심이다. 환상이 충족되기를 기대하지 않는다는 것은 외부에 의존하지 않는다는 뜻이므로. 

연애와 사랑, 일에 대한 환상은 대부분 사라졌지만, 끈질기게도 나 자신에 대한 환상은 여전히 남아있는 모양이다. 간혹 크게 들뜨거나 지나치게 가라앉는다. 여전히 나는 이 진폭에게서 심한 부끄러움을 느낀다.
