Kafka wrote "it would be better if you didn't come, since you have to leave again" but Faraz sahab wrote " Ranjish hi sahi dil hi dukhane ke liye aa, aa phir se mujhe chor jaane ke liye aa"

one day I woke up and realised all the waiting and yearning was actually me living my life and it’s happening right now and it’s still good even if it’s not perfect and there is no moment when all your dreams get fulfilled and everything makes sense. like… this is it. this is life. you’ll waste away your youth waiting for some imagined future if you don’t love life for what it is now and make the most of it

everything is a supercut reel in my head. i often cannot enjoy happiness without thinking of the end. it is a curse and a blessing. because that way the moment feels like a movie scene in my head.
born to always mourn the present like it’s already become a memory

i think as a poet it would be so cool for me to come across somebody web-weaving lines from my poems one day. like, i might not want to pursue poetry as a career, but i want to move people when they read lines that are excerpts from my poems, just the lines being enough to move them like most pieces of texts i read on here. i wonder where they come from very often.
