Student Comes First
From a history of educational schools, students were very passive to listen and follow the teacher’s instructions. Compared to today, students extend their preferences by increasing their aggressiveness to have the ability to talk back or stand up for themselves. It shows that any student who has a right to feel safe and comfortable in any academic setting.
To show a mutual respect is to provide a safe space in a classroom. It supports that you meet students' needs and preferences. By making this happen, the students will focus positively on the lectures, assignments, and academic discussions. Student comes first!
