This is one of my favourite designs I’ve made, the colour is just amazing to wear, and the set is so comfy! It’s made from an organic cotton, bamboo and elastane jersey which makes it extra soft. I’ve got some dusky pink limited edition knickers coming soon. The reason for this is that I had 3 sized backs cut out from a while ago and I never used them so thought it was about time they got used! 💗 . Since I’ve been concentrating on computer work I’ve been really missing using my sewing machine and getting the fabrics out to see what I can make. Theres something about handling and working with fabrics that is really fulfilling, something I can’t really get when looking at a screen! The Gloam bra, although looked simple actually took the longest time to make out of all the soft bras. So many details went into the bra that had to be perfect. Here is the stage of applying the neckline trim that had to be applied with the correct amount of stretch, positioned exactly, which I had to measure out and mark with chalk so the lace would sit exactly right at the strap point, and both sides had to match perfectly. This wasn’t my favourite part may I add! However those details really do make the difference. I have one Gloam bra left, ready to ship on the shop now in size 34B-32C. I finished the bespoke bikini for my mum. She knew the style she wanted so it was just choosing the fabrics and making the fit perfect.
