Found the FGG CAS Challenge while browsing YouTube, and I decided to try my hand at it... then I got the "baddie" aesthetic thanks to my love of sci-fi/fantasy. I did my best to match images that matched the "baddie clothing style" search with the CAS options I had.
Her name comes from how I was torn between calling her "Frances" and "Gigi". Gigi won out, but I still kept Frances in there.
I'm StarlightEm on the Gallery, in case anyone wants to add her to their game. I didn't use any CC to make her.

Trois femmes aux ombrelles
And we're back at the regular 1880's fashion with this set which inludes bustle skirts in 3 lenghts, 2 skirt overlays, 3 flower accessories, a parasol and an umbrella !
More pics and download below
As referenced in the title, this set was inspired by Marie Bracquemont’s painting : Trois femmes aux ombrelles ou Les Trois grâces / Three Ladies with Parasols or Three Graces, 1880.
Thanks to @javitrulovesims for making the perfect pose for this set !
———————————   Skirts  ———————————
Tumblr media
———————————————————————————
Once again, these skirts have a slight bustle shape which would best fit for the natural form era : roughly 1875 - 1883 ; (well actually, the size of the bustle is dependant on the size of the sim’s butt so do with that what you will). They are more ornate than my Cueillette skirts featuring some gathered layers and trims typical of the period, so they would be better suited for higher class people or more dressed up occasions.
And as always I give you 3 versions with each a different lenght to have more teen options and worker friendly options . The short one end mid calf, the medium one is ankle lenght and the long is full lenght.
74 swatches : 22 solids, 10 floral, 6 plaid, 25 striped & 11 polka dot patterns
3 lenghts : S, M & L
————————— Skirt Overlays —————————
Tumblr media
———————————————————————————
These two overlays will allow to respectively change the gathered layers and the trim swatches in order to channel the trim crazy period that were the 1880's.
Tumblr media
in the middle finger section
74 swatches for the skirt overlay : 22 solids, 10 florals, 6 plaids, 25 stripes & 11 polka dots patterns
22 solid swatches for the trim overlay
———————— Flower Accessories ————————
Tumblr media
———————————————————————————
To properly channel Marie Bracquemond's painting I needed a bunch of flower accessories so you will find 3 accessories in this set : a hair flower, a collar flower and a boutonnière. In my opinion these are pretty timeless and can suit a wide array of looks as portrayed in the pictures below.
These are all edits of @the-melancholy-maiden's Hair Flowers Through the Ages Part 2 thanks to her very open TOU.
Tumblr media
none of these are compatible with hats
51 swatches : the-melancholy-maiden's original 29 colors and my 22 colors
the collar flower and the boutonnière are in the necklace section
the hair flower is in the hat section, available for both female and male frames
the hair flower is hat slider compatible
————————   Parasol & Umbrella  ————————
Tumblr media
———————————————————————————
I made both an umbrella and a lacey parasol (using Javi's texture). These are rather timeless too I think, they are definetely suited for late victorian and edwardian eras.
These are both edits of @javitrulovesims's Meiji Komorebi Accessory Parasol, thank you Javi !
NOT compatible with necklaces, earrings, piercings or anything using the same UVmap (such as kijiko's lashes unfortunatly)
in the right index finger section
45 swatches : 2 colors for the frame and handle, 22 for the canopy and 1 fully black swatch

3000+ followers gift: 1898 evening gown
03.10.2020 edit: Fixed a problem with spikes appearing on sim’s legs when zooming out. Please redownload!
***
Hello everyone!
It’s hard to believe, but I’ve just reached another milestone today: over 3000 followers on Tumblr! 3006 as of now, to be precise. Thank you everyone so much!
I could see this day approaching already for some time and thought it’d be nice to make something special to celebrate it. And what could be a better gift than the one thing numerous people have asked me for - have been asking me for for months? So - here it is! It took lots of time and effort, not gonna lie, but I can finally proudly present to you my first late Victorian evening gown.
Comes in 2 versions, both in 22 swatches. V2 was added later; it has a more silky/satin texture and I consider it a big improvement, but I left the og version as well, in case someone prefers the less shiny option:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Base Game compatible
HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
all LODs
custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, some silky shine
tagged as everyday, formal and party
found under long dress subcategory
colour tagged
disallowed for random
PDN for recolours available - you don’t need it for the mesh to work. If you want to recolour v2, replace the 3D layer with the satin file and change shading to ‘overlay’.
I did my best to make it work with all body types and in all situations, and I think I succeeded in 99%. There is that remaining 1% of clipping possibility though. I’m sorry for it, but I did what I could.
Hope you and your sims will like it, enjoy!
DOWNLOAD (free on Patreon, no ads)
And in case you wonder: yes, of course I have other ball gowns planned, it’s just that they take FREAKING lots of time!

Late 1910s Blouse and Skirt Separates Set
Tumblr media
This is something I felt was much needed to fill a gap where little cc existed–late 1910s ladies wear. While my summer frock I released a few weeks ago fits in that area, this wild transitional period has so many unique looks that weren’t represented. I also felt there was more to be done with the “komorebi jacket” mesh that came with Snowy Escape. All of the tops have the bloused waistline from that piece.
This set has a total of six blouses and five skirts. The blouses are short and long sleeved versions of three different neckline bases. I also made three new skirt meshes and recolored two other meshes I thought worked well for the period. Since the meshes already existed, I just recolored them–why reinvent the wheel? The waistline is a little unusual, so not many pieces will work perfectly with it besides the ones in this set.

1880 Dress Set
This set of four bustle dresses is based off of fashions trends between 1883 and 1890. During the later half of the 1880s, smartly tailored bodices, large bustles, and asymmetrical overskirts were the style.

Dans la salle à manger
Here comes the 4th part of my (infinite) series of cc inspired by 1870's and 1880's paintings. It features a bodice and 2 overlays (with some velveeeet ...!). More pics and download below
As referenced in the title, this set was inspired by Berthe Morisot’s painting : Dans la salle à manger / In the Dining Room, 1886.
———————————  Bodice  ———————————
Tumblr media
———————————————————————————
This bodice features a central panel with buttons and a folded collar. Like my previous bodices this one is tight fitted with a high collar as was fashionable during most of the 1870′s and 1880′s.
74 swatches : 22 solids, 10 floral, 6 plaid, 25 striped & 11 polka dots patterns
————————— Bodice Overlays ————————
Tumblr media
———————————————————————————
As always, I want more options, so you get both a velvet and non-velvet overlay for more matching and contrasting colors combinations.

Velvet and non velvet overlays
for both 74 swatches : 22 solids, 10 florals, 6 plaids, 25 stripes & 11 polka dots patterns

Lace as a luxury was carried over from the 17th century, used as a status simple for the wealthy to flaunt. From the mid-century on it migrated to the neck in the form of delicate chokers, which were a fashionable alternative to traditional jewelled necklaces. As hairstyles became larger hat styles became smaller until they were discarded altogether for a time, followed by extremely large hats that accommodated the curls, plaits and frizzed hair beneath. CC links and reference images under the cut.

1700s LOOKBOOK - WOMEN (1770 to 1799)
By the late 18th century fashions started to considerably simplify thanks to the growing popularity of more informal clothing made from wool, cotton and lightweight silks. Come 1789 the French Revolution had a huge impact on fashion trends as it became literally life threatening to display the kind of ostentatious wealth synonymous with the mid century - any sign that you might be a counter-revolutionary could be enough to send you to the guillotine. Patriotic outfits in red, white and blue were an outward way to display one's revolutionary spirit. However, not all frivolity was cast aside. As dresses reduced in size and fussiness, hats continued to grow, supported by equally oversized hairstyles.

The wide silhouette of the early century started to slim come the mid century, and it slimmed even more so come the 1770s. Style in general was becoming more simplified, leading to fashion that exemplified the new 'casual' aesthetic. The habit à la française came into mode for men, showcasing the standing collar that would carry over into the early 1800s. The front skirt of the coat started being cut back, exposing the front of the breeches. This resulted in waistcoats becoming shorter and breeches becoming tighter to exaggerate the new silhouette. In direct contrast to this move toward simplicity, dandies outfitted themselves in eye-catching and visually lavish ensembles. Their style loudly announced their cosmopolitan, fashion-centric outlook, and their sartorial choices blurred the line between masculine and feminine.
We've now finally hit the point in the historical timeline where I can represent my home country! While the early white settlement of Australia is typically associated with the convicts that were shipped to penal colonies in the newly discovered country, by the late 1700s free settlers were also making it home. Many of these settlers built homesteads and farmed the land for survival. It was a tough life and their practical clothing reflected as such.
The end of the 18th century saw a great deal of political unrest, most notably in France. The French Revolution had a huge impact on clothing as it became increasingly important to outwardly show your republican support via your stylistic choices. Waistcoats were still very much a part of a man's everyday wardrobe, and often times they were decorated to show political sympathies. The 1790s saw the rise of the sans-culottes - working class men who shunned the wearing of breeches in favour of loose trousers. These were often paired with a red wool cap known as a bonnet phrygian, which signified the wearer's hardcore dedication to the revolution.

“English Roses” - A 1780’s inpired Set.
I know that last month i made a little survey about what type of CC you guys wanted and the “French Whores!” project was born. A little set inspired by famous french courtesans. However i’ve feeling extra uninspired with the project lately and i started to deviate myself from that project and slowly starting another ones. If your follow me in here you’ll see i created a little funny skit named “Malicious Mademoiselles” a Mean Girls sorta parody set on 1775 Versailles. Because i want to keep doing this little funny project i’ll need some extra clothing to go along with it… and then, i made the Gingham Dress. A simple Gingham dress with apron, a fun wink to Lindsay Lohan’s Checkered t-shirt on the movie. A couple of days after i posted a lovely follower asked me if i could release it. I had no intention to release such a basic CC so, i made loads of Swatches, created a basic Fichu to go with the dress et Voilá.
The whole Set consists of two dress recolors from Historical Sim Life’s Mesh and a Fichu made by me. you can see a little of the research and inspiration i took to make them in my Patreon Page

Wisteria Root Orchard Pt. 3
After becoming a young adult, Archer took over gardening. Now that she doesn't need to worry about her brother as much, Oriole has started working at a nearby coffee shop. This has given Oriole enough time to meet up with Stella, Flamenco, and Joanna. Stella has moved in and published a book accusing Bella of stealing Mortimer from her, but Flamenco and Joanna are living their best lives. Flamenco has gotten back together with Katrina. Meanwhile Joanna has confronted Geoffrey, and this caused him to divorce Nancy.
Tumblr media
Archer has also been growing closer to the heir to the Moonwood Collective. Like, a lot closer. They're fated mates! They don't know it, though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In addition, as much as Jacob loves Moonwood Mill and the Moonwood Collective, he would like to do more for werewolves in the wider world.
OOC: Jacob, I'm sorry, but I don't own City Living. If I did, you'd be a politician. Best I can do for you is journalist.
Instead, their current plan is to convince Kristopher that Archer would do well as the alpha of the Moonwood Collective, all by fake dating. And surely this won't go the way every fake dating plot goes, with them falling in love by the end.
(Of course it will. They're fated to be together.)
