or, well, in the process of moving !! i’ve had great times on this blog, but it’s becoming cluttered and just in need of a good sweep + a tag clean up. so !! i’m moving my muses over to @yeonghcn. same url, if you haven’t seen the -a at the end of this one !! i’m splitting up muses on there into primary / secondary / by request, so secondary muses are currently unavailable. but everyone else is currently available while i’m busy moving everything !! i apologize for all the movement and inactivity, as well as silence, on my side. if people wish for threads to be continued from blog to blog, just contact me and let me know !!

if everything was indeed fine, she really has no reason to doubt him. not knowing much about him as she is new to the group. he has never really given the chance for her to think such a way about him. easily, she was able to turn that small frown upside down. giving him a smile now, handing him the blanket.

“that is fair. not everyone likes to be sociable.” she gave a nod, feeling like she understands him on that note. a few of them come to mind that don’t seem like the type to mingle a lot with the others. rufus and zero quickly come to mind. as well as mari. though, she has seemed to warm up compared to the rest of the chase. 

“if there is anything the matter, please, come take to me. i hope we can be friends one day. maybe, you would prefer not to be alone in the future, yea?”

He always knew Lime was one of the more innocent and naive members of the Chase. It showed, honestly, especially with the gifting of the blanket. His hands took it after a moment, unsure of what to say or do. A thank you would suffice, he knew that much, but for some reason he found himself confused. After a moment, he simply nodded before parting lips to speak.

❝ Thank you, Lime. ❞

Her offer of talking - if anything bothered him - was interesting. Lass wasn’t the type to talk. He honestly would rather push things aside and... Well, never deal with them. Her words were interesting, and he kept them in the back of his mind - if he would ever take heed to them, that was unknown. Most likely not, honestly.

❝ Ah... Yes, I will, Lime. Thank you. ❞

It was best to placate her for now, hands unfolding the blanket to wrap it around his shoulders. He debated on sharing the blanket with Lime, but part of his brain told him she must already have one. At the same time, he figured it was a nice enough gesture towards her - at least one in good will and good faith, like she had extended to him with the blanket in the first place. After a moment, he silently patted the space next to him, holding open the blanket.

Going to sleep now did not matter much, now that she had woken up from his light slumber a moment ago.

someone who seems so pure as a goddess, yet holds such darkness of a demon within their body. something evil lurks within the priestess. something that the messenger of destruction wanted to play with when he can get his hands on it.

“there you are~” his voice sang out in a playful way followed by a childish chuckle as if he was a child playing hide and seek with another. appearing out of the shadows from behind her, the only thing that alerted his arrival was the glitchy, purple squares that worked as a portal of sorts for him to travel with. his companion, deus, in the shape of a cube, being the leader of his master’s arrival. 

“aren’t you the cutest thing!” floating above the ground, his hands rest on her shoulders, putting some weight against the girl’s back, leaning his body against her. only to let go seconds later to float in front of her. “such a naive, bright girl. yet hiding such nasty little secrets!” he spoke as he moved. the cube never leaving veigas’ side. “how i would love to know all about them~”

His words were strange, but she was complimented! She was called cute and bright - she was willfully ignoring the ‘naive’ statement. However, his statement about knowing her secrets... That was something she would blissfully ignore. For now. He didn’t need to know anything - no matter what he thought. And Rin wasn’t gonna talk. Nuh-uh. She was a big girl... She could handle herself.

... Maybe.

Rin decided to play along with the demon for now, rocking back on the heels of her feet before a hand went to her hip, fan touching her chest as it was closed; a smile on her tiers.

lime is the kind of girl who is nice to everyone in the chase. no matter how rude or mean they can be. though, she does not like ‘mean or bad people’, she still gives everyone a chance. everyone in the chase can’t be that bad, right? they are there to save their world. so no one in their group can truly be bad people.

with a hop in her step, her eyes looking as sparkly as ever. always filled with bright hope. never having a day of negative emotion. almost as if this girl doesn’t even have a single one in her body. she made her way over to the male, all curled up in the corner. “is everything okay, lass?” the holy knight spoke to him, kneeling down to his current level. a blanket in her hands that she brought with her, in case if he was cold or trying to sleep. 

“everyone is worried since you do not like to be around us it seems.”  ah, there it is. the single hint of negative emotion as she frowns slightly. her eyes speak of more worry than anything. though, does this truly seem negative coming from someone as her?

Lass’ eyes would have shot open if he was any less trained, but she wasn’t exactly the most silent on her way over. Lime was much newer to the group - some kind of holy priestess or something or other. Lass didn’t actually care to know all that much. But her words made him raise a brow, eyes opening to look at her.

❝ Everything is fine, Lime. ❞

His response was quiet, curt - as was his usual form of speech. He never was one to mince words, rarely talking unless absolutely needing to. It was the rest of what she said, coupled with the frown, that made him confused. Lass was a loner, it was nothing against the others whatsoever - but perhaps others would not understand.

❝ Ah... ❞

What could he say? Swallowing for a moment, he closed his mouth, shaking his head slightly.

❝ I do not dislike any of you. I just prefer to be alone. ❞

That was a good answer - a safe answer. No one need get close to him, and he need not get close to anyone.

She had not expected to be fooled - yet again - by a shopkeep. Perhaps it was dawning on her - at least - at some point that she was being so easily fooled, but it did not help that Rin was still too naive.

Rin wanted to pout like a child, but she felt too bad for losing out - perhaps she really should get used to the world... Adjusting was hard, but she absolutely had to. She was grateful they had let her even travel with them, for her protection, and she should try her best to adjust and make it easier on them.

But it was hard, sometimes.

Lass couldn’t put his finger on it, but something about the hammer wielding girl was interesting. However, he preferred staying out of most of the group’s conversations, staying by himself. Currently curled up in a dark corner, he stared off into space while watching the group quietly - there was no point in socializing, in interacting, as he curled up. Probably should get some shut eye... For now. Closing his eyes, Lass began to doze, keeping quiet in his corner.
