I don’t know why, but for some reason adachi from p4u2 has a sensual atmosphere

there are moments where i feel like adachi is genuinely enthusiastic about his job. just look at him

and tell me he’s not at least a little bit happy. in one of the episodes of persona stalker club it’s said that:

“Adachi doesn’t necessarily live in Iwatodai. He saw the bridge often while he was in the city center for work. Because of a police TV series that was popular at the time, he specifically went out of his way to drive over the Moonlight Bridge when returning from a crime scene. He seems to enjoy those drives.”

so it really seems like adachi likes his job, or rather what it could’ve been. but if that’s the case then again, this has sadder implications. just look at how he’s treated in the inaba police departament. despite being an elite detective he’s not being taken seriously at all. imagine finally getting a job you anticipated and studied for your entire youth, only for you to become a coffee fetcher.

it’s like pouring salt into the wound on a regular basis just to remind him how unimportant he is, lol.
