Exhibition opening We spent Tuesday and Wednesday putting up everyone’s work for the exhibition. As part of the citation team I got to work with the rest of our team to decide the best way to set up the exhibition the layout where things should go. At first we considered sorting them by the themes people chose but with so many people choosing some themes and so little choosing the others we thought it would leave the space unbalanced. We went through everyone’s work and tried to space out the room the best we could. We went through many arrangements of the room. It was much harder than I expected to figure out how the room should set up especially when everyone has different opinions on how it should look. Setting up my film ended up being very complicated. There was so many technical issues. The remote was broken , there was no sound my video was only playing the first half for some reason but luckily we managed to fix it all in time for the exhibitions start and though the process was very stressful I’m am very podiums of the way we put the whole show together the posters and flyers and inter gram stories made by the marketing team was brilliant. We were able to get a lot more done by working in smaller groups and tackling each problem one at a time. I learned a lot from the curation process that I can bring into the next two years and into practice after I graduate.
