Like I said, we knew for a while a new woman would take her place. That doesn’t mean Aslaug will die but we’re not really sure of the circumstances yet. Moreover, I would not say Lagertha is Hirst’s complete favorite.

Would you favorite really get only a total of like a few minutes of showtime? 

Would your favorite barely get an arc this season? 

Would your favorite not have much development since season 2?

I get where you’re coming from and I don’t think we as a fandom should drag one for the other. All women on the series really deserve better. We can only hope things pick up better in the second half of season 4.
