I wrote this scene because I'm falling in love with someone and that has been making me stray a bit from angst and start writing happier poems🥹❤️

Hiya, it's Sunday and that means you get an ask! Courtesy of Athena's ask-a-thon, here's your question.

Would you ever write a crossover between multiple wips/ ocs worlds and timelines etc?

So sorry for the late response, @yesireadbooks. But this is a really good ask! Thank you so much for this.

I think about this all the time…

I have wondered what it would be like if my OCs from different works were to meet/interact. Like a super special crossover episode of some sort!

In fact, I've played around with the idea of interdimensional travel in my writing before. I contemplated using it as a side plot of my Aurelian University series that I have been meaning to post for almost a year now (I am so late in posting it. I announced it ages ago lol). If I set it up well enough, and it works well within that story, then maybe I could write AUs and special pieces of interdimensional travelling characters spanning different settings and worlds where other stories I've written, and possibly meet some of the characters that live there.

Dancing under the burning sky

The coffee was cold in our free hands when we were too busy holding hands. Waiting for the burning sky, our music went unnoticed. The gleam in the eyes of a lover was even more shiny with tears. At last, when the fire spread, and all hell broke loose beneath us, we spilled our coffees on the floor that will never be cleaned again. With our newly free hands, we rejoiced with them entwining each other. The forgotten music silently played, and our steps made no sound. The dying symphony told us to hold hands tighter; and when hell finally reached us, I looked right into the teary eyes and knew I was already in heaven.

Could you maybe... Talk a little bit about your WIP about Sri Lanka 👉👈

Yess, so, it's a rom com (yes i know, I'm the last person to write a rom com), but it's all a filter for a political story. The main story line revolves around a Sinhala (Buddhist) boy and a Malay (Islamic) girl and their relationship. They face some pretty harsh challenges along the way from both their families and society. In the background, real Sri lankan events like the Easter Sunday Bombings and the 2022 Mass Protests will catalysts in the story. It would be more or less of an happy ending, but I'm still not sure of the degree of happiness.
