MC carries quiet fears of being left behind, echoes from a past filled with people who walked away. But Mammon, for all his loud bluster and goofy charm, notices. He may not have the right words, but he’s got loyalty in his bones, and he’s determined to show MC what it means to be truly chosen, and never left behind.

• Mammon may act like he’s clueless, but he’s sharp when it comes to your emotions. The moment you go quiet or pull back, he notices. He doesn't always know why, but he knows something’s off.

• He won’t say “I won’t leave you” in a serious tone, but he’ll whine, “Oi, don’t go thinkin’ I’d ditch ya, alright?” while wrapping you in his arms and nuzzling into your neck like it's no big deal.

• He shows love through action more than words. He’s always there, waiting after class, staying on call even when you say “you’re fine,” and low-key threatening anyone who makes you feel replaceable.

• When he finds out what caused your fear of abandonment, Mammon gets furious, but not at you. “Who the hell made ya feel like that?” he spits, jaw clenched. He wants names. He’s not letting them near you again.

• He becomes the most affectionate version of himself. Shoulder bumps, hands brushing yours, looping his tail around you when you sit on the couch, he needs you to know he’s not going anywhere.

• If your fear flares and you try to push him away first, Mammon doesn’t snap back. He just stands there, brows furrowed, voice low. “I ain’t leavin’. Ya hear me? I’m not like them.”

• He’ll show up randomly with a trinket “saw this and thought of you.” It’s his way of saying I remembered you, you matter, you’re still on my mind. Sometimes it’s a plushie. Sometimes it’s something expensive. Always sincere.

• He’s not perfect. He screws up, says dumb things. But he never stops showing up. With time, you start to believe maybe… just maybe… this demon will always come back.

• One night, quietly, he admits: “I always thought people would leave me, too.” That moment bonds you deeper. You hold each other like lifelines, understanding each other better than anyone else could.

• Eventually, he takes your hand, and says, “Even if the Devildom crumbles, I’ll still find you. I swear it.”

dream: mammon (says really stupid stuff that makes you laugh really hard, can keep up with insane and convoluted bits), beel (experienced stoner, keeps a cool head when everyone else is fried out of their minds, always has munchies), belphie (really good at finding the most comfortable spot to smoke, passes out early so you don’t feel bad about getting sleepy), asmo (will fill the silence with chatter when you’re too high to think anymore, looks really pretty with hooded eyelids <3)

nightmare: levi (the filter is always wet when he passes it back to you :/), solomon (he’s your dealer but the kind that it feels really weird to smoke with yet he insists on smoking with you every time you buy from him), lucifer (NEEDS to fucking relax, gets paranoid instead), barbatos (seems completely unaffected by the blunt and makes you feel stupid)
