for a visibly old man with a mustache yhwach sure is incredibly babygirl

i'm very interested in discussing/exploring how much other bleach characters, specifically but not exclusively quincy characters, know about yhwach's nature as the soul king's son because it's not something that is ever mentioned (except by yhwach himself or ichibē) so like—i love bleach lore come talk to me about it

"You have to tell yourself a new story."
yhwach's blood-red gaze spills onto him, heavy and magnetic.
“you are the word-weaver, sōsuke aizen, not i. even so, your silver tongue did not suffice to shape your story into reality.”
a cut smile of acknowledgement then graces the king's hard features. it is true that silbern bears the song like a bookcase fashioned entirely to house just one story, engraved in the walls for the soldiers to march by and stacked in scrolls for quincy scholars to read, or again sung for men and women to draw strength from it. just one song. sōsuke aizen does not speak without reason, but his understanding is too limited to his dislike for his own kind to ever fathom the need for an unchanging hymn.
“the kaiser gesang has been sung for a thousand years. it is no mere story, but the proof of my covenant—it needs completion, not replacement.” flames of reishi dance in yhwach's hand. from shapeless fire it molds into scenes of war sliding into one another, then three globes merging into one. the fire is extinguished as soon as yhwach's clenches his hand into a fist. “so it may be sung for a thousand more.”

the ash family.
dialogue prompts from the ash family by emily dektar.
why would you want to leave?
let the fake world fall away.
acquiescence is not the same as desire.
i wanted to be saved.
i bet your dad left home when you were younger.
i like to hear people's stories.
even a hypocrite can be an agent of change.
i get along great with lost souls.
it didn't turn out how i wanted.
i thought it was kind to leave.
the definite self doesn't exist.
i need to go home changed, or not at all.
you can learn tolerance to pain the way you learn math.
you have to tell yourself a new story.
even if it was a game, it was more honest than anything else.
sometimes you have to fight violence with violence.
i wish nature could beat people up.
emotion is easy, and planning is hard.
i'm more free than i was before, but wherever i go, i find myself.
i like thinking that nothing gets forgotten.
cooperation is just as important as competition.
who lives like this?
who would believe me if i told them?
it's better never to be born at all.
it's so easy to rewrite a memory.
i feel bad for the people who can't see this.
if you're not rolling with it, you're rolling under it.
you seem like you have a lot going for you.
i don't think i'd be a good mom.
distract me.
doesn't everyone feel a little afraid of open spaces?
will you run your hands through my hair?
there's no point in anything, if you can't appreciate the romance.
____ loved an idea of me, not me.
i always wished i could hop trains.
get relativity.
you can't heal something that doesn't want to heal.
i must have seemed so wild.
selflessness in humans never comes from nowhere.
do you think we can trust ____?
if you say it, you think it. and if you think it, you'll believe it.
i'm lost without you.
the cleaner things seem, the dirtier they are.
i want to make sure it's really you.
can you forgive us? forgive me?
i never expected to find my way back here.
i'm not really here at all. neither are you.
has ____ treated you right?
you never used to be so mean.
i want to belong to you.
the fear helps me focus.
sometimes it takes a while to learn how to heal.
i had a dream about you.
we have to burn everything but the bridges.
what good is hibernation if you have to wake up from it?
i'm getting used to walking into traps.
you want the radio?
don't be a brat.
just who i wanted to see.
it never occurred to me to disobey.
you can't keep thinking that your actions have no affect on people.
i bet i sounded like a nutcase on the phone.
