Since I'm doing train maintenance now it got me applying the funny tiny/big people gimmick to public transport.

Borrowers living on passenger trains would absolutely be high risk/high reward, uncomfortable life but high chance of continued survival.

Plenty of crumbs and trash all around the floor, many places to hide, like under seats, in door mechanisms, etc. but being out in the open would be even riskier because of how little there would be to hide behind in a pinch, unlike in houses (no tables, armchairs & couches, dressers, etc.)

A grappling hook would be a necessity, for climbing up onto seats to grab food or small clothing items like gloves or beanies that passengers forgot, to climb up steps, etc.

Then of course the train would have to come in for maintenance every once in a while.. maintenance guy (me :3) would realize a borrower has been hiding out in here, finding a hideout somewhere.. me knowing I'd have to keep the tiny safe, looking all over for the train for them, having to stuff them in my pocket without being able to explain why, scaring the poor little thing to death.. and having to explain it in a hidden spot like the bathrooms that I'm not a threat to them..
