a notification breaks the captain out of his work-induced stupor. at the sound, he picks his phone up, a small smile gracing his lips when he sees your name on screen.

he unlocks it, looking forward to whatever update you sent him before immediately slamming it back down on his desk with enough force that makes him momentarily worry about the device’s condition. he wouldn't want to lose what he just got.

his face is burning, but he tries to compose himself after taking a deep, shaky breath. he unlocks his phone once more to your messages. one was a photo, yet it wasn’t just any photo. while he was used to receiving mundane snapshots of whatever you were occupied with, even pausing to admire ones with your face in them, nothing could’ve prepared him for the sight that greeted him in your shared chat.

you were laid down on your chest in front of a mirror positioned at the foot of your bed, the sheets pooled around you. your phone covered half your face, yet gepard couldn’t even find it in himself to complain because, from what he could see, the rest of you was bare, save for his coat blanketing your form.

the fur was tantalizingly draped over your shoulders, leaving him with a glimpse of skin that showcased proof of your... escapade the previous night. red marks dotted the crook between your neck and shoulders and your hair still appeared unkempt. the blue cape was spread to one side, a stark contrast against your sheets and the white of his jacket.

💬: “miss you”

gepard swallows, suddenly feeling a little too warm in his uniform. that’s all they were; a couple messages. but his heart betrayed his thoughts, beating too fast for his liking and sending his blood rushing to places he really doesn’t want it to be at while he was on duty.

should he scold you? no, he was a weak man when it came to you. he… liked the photo, after all, but he felt that he shouldn’t encourage you to keep teasing him either. the sight of you waiting—presenting yourself— for him in such a way charged him with a sense of affection and lust he felt almost guilty for having.

his mind wanders away from his initial contemplations. although his skills as an artist left much to be desired, he knows how to pleasure you, take you apart with his hands and yet also ground you with his touch. as much as he belongs to belobog, he belongs to you. he knows your likes, your dislikes, and everything that made the gallery that was you. he's memorized each crevice, dip, and line, having devoted himself to the art of knowing your every detail.

mentally, he slaps himself, placing his focus back on the present. qlipoth, help him. what was he to do with you? that photo might've just rewired him. its been several minutes and he still hasn't formulated a response to your messages. he can almost see the smug grin on your face, knowing that you flustered him. cheeky thing. with an exasperated (slightly fond) sigh, he types out a reply. too bad he just felt like such a fool for you sometimes. he'll get back at you one day.

(and if he saves your picture to a private album of his, no one needs to know.)

lighter whose heart was slowly but surely captured by wise who’s smart, caring, and attractive in a quiet, almost gentle way (definitely not projecting my super secret big fat crush on wise). the proxy’s too good for him, though, he thinks. wise is skilled at what he does, whether it be through managing the video store or working as phaethon. he’s amicable, too, even if he’s a little mysterious or closed-off sometimes, and, to top it all off, he’s pretty…

but all lighter can do is admire from afar. he wouldn’t want to impose on wise. besides, he probably has a lot on his plate due to the two jobs he has to juggle with his sister and, considering that the proxy had such a well-rounded personality and attractive characteristics, there was sure to be lots of people in pursuit of his favor.

(that's not to say lighter isn't attractive, though. he literally gets love letters-- which usually come along with letters aiming to challenge him but that's irrelevant-- and i do have eyes, thank you very much.)

he just thinks he's too much or not enough to be a lover for wise. lighter's past isn't quite as clean as he'd like it to be and he believes he's a little rough around the edges in terms of emotional availability, personality, and appearance, among other things.

so when the proxy confesses one day, the biker’s brain just... ceases all its functions because ??? what??? me?? he feels nothing and everything all at once because wise (wise!!!) just told him he likes him romantically. while he struggles to process this fact, a surge of courage just runs through wise and he pulls lighter in by the lapels of his leather jacket and its game over for the undefeated (now defeated) champion.

having thoughts about a ratiorine / aventio hotel del luna au even though i never finished the drama (horrible attention span…) (i should finish it this year)

i just think they fit the main characters’ personalities… ratio as chansung who’s stoic, rational, but soft-hearted; having graduated from a top university abroad and returning to work for a corporation that fits their achievements and resume. aventurine as manwol who’s condemned to live beyond their years as the owner of a supernatural inn/hotel for the dead for centuries. they enjoy living in luxury and sometimes have unpredictable tempers, but in reality they’re somewhat lonely and are continuously haunted by their past.

after aventurine asks ratio to work for his hotel, they’ll constantly butt heads due to their differences and the circumstances that put them in their positions, but eventually warm up as they continue working together. the more they learn about each other, something more develops between them both but again and again are stopped by their circumstances, which makes them hesitate to pursue whatever it is between them.

also i really just want to see how ratio is with spirits or ghosts and whatnot. and iu’s fits in the drama were so good, i want to dress aventurine up in them…. mercy….

very clingy. when you're not together, he'd be texting you random little updates or beg for your attention just for the sake of talking to you if calling momentarily isn't an option. sometimes he tries to use you as an excuse to get out of work, but after he's done it a couple of times, you've become immune to always bending to his whims and suddenly he's whining about how you don't love him anymore.

an avid quality time enjoyer, if i've ever seen one. he's content with lazing around with you or doing mundane tasks that don't require much physical effort. likes cuddling against you when you're just sitting engrossed in doing something with your hands and reading or watching something together.

even though he usually appears and acts lighthearted, deep down, he's genuinely happy with you and the relationship you share. he cherishes every moment you can spend together and wishes it could go on for as long as he lives. you're the person he refers to as family when on one of his much-dreaded doctor appointments.

alongside the nightmares he already has regarding his sickness, he'd have times when he'd wake up in a cold sweat from dreams of losing or leaving you and the people he cares for. thankfully, on the days you sleep over, he has you; he's comforted by the sight of your sleeping figure and clings to you for the rest of the night.

on a lighter note, sharing a bed with this man is probably a chaotic experience on a dreamless night; initially, you'd both fall into slumber comfortably cuddled against each other, but the following morning, one of you would be seconds away from suffocating in a vice grip.

billy kid

loves playing games with you. he's usually competitive when playing against you but when you're both on a team together, he's suddenly the biggest cheerleader there is. if both of you lose, that's totally fine! you'll get it next time. what matters to him is that you had fun together.

deeply appreciates it and enjoys when you match him nerd-for-nerd, even if you don't share a lot of similar interests. you take turns randomly info-dumping about any piece of media or activity you're into and both of you pay genuine attention to whatever the other is talking about. he loves listening to you passionately talk or share anything about any topic because you do the same for him.

adding on to the previous point: both of you make jokes about liking your favorite fictional characters or celebrities more, just to be playfully petty.

after spending so much time with him, you already know which maintenance products he likes for himself or his guns. kind of like how other people know what shampoo or body wash their partner prefers. when you see he's running out and you buy them without telling him, he'll notice and be weeping tears of joy.

if you take a while to open up to him about certain things, he's alright with that and will tell you to take your time or give you the space you need. he's been the same when it comes to sharing his past with other people and understands that some things do take courage to tell.

seth lowell

despite having been in a relationship for a while, he most likely still gets easily flustered from any vaguely flirty quip and intimate gesture that comes from you. you could use this knowledge to your advantage but do have mercy on the poor guy.

[there was one instance where you gave him a quick peck on the lips without giving much thought to it before leaving and all he could do was stay where he was with his brain buffering for a whole minute.]

even though he's somewhat shy about expressing his admiration or appreciation for you and sometimes stumbles through his words when doing so, he's sincere in everything he says and does for you.

you're one of the very few people he trusts with touching his tail and ears. it's come to the point where when you're both just laying together, he wouldn't mind the feeling of your fingers gently rubbing on a certain spot on his ears while you run your fingers through his hair.

he appreciates that you see him for who he is and acknowledge his efforts to get where he is now. your affirmations, whether spoken or unspoken, mean much to him and he feels like he can truly be comfortable when he's around you.

sometimes, he unknowingly acts or does very attractive things and it just blows your mind. he'd steer you by the waist from bumping into things or, if you're shorter, accidentally pin you against a wall/surface when trying to reach for something from a high place because he just wants to help! you should be more careful, you know. but you've already mentally imploded while your sweet, sweet boyfriend remains clueless.

best cuddle partner to have during colder seasons no. 1. although he puts his fur care second, it's still soft and fuzzy to the touch and he likes that you appreciate the warmth it provides too.

since he struggles with some of his accounting responsibilities due to the size of his paws, sometimes you help him with sorting some of belobog industries' financial documents and eventually you end up finding the task quite relaxing after a while of doing it.

but, of course, he loves spending time with you outside of work. anything to take his mind off of the horrors of accounting. he'll mentally file away anything he learns about you when you're together for future purposes, may it be gift or date ideas.

he's the bear thiren between both of you, but in private he loves cuddling against you like you're some sort of plush toy. you don't mind. another win-win situation because you get to rest against him like a giant pillow as well.

he tries to be flirty with you and sometimes it works! but when you match his energy and it backfires on him he turns into a blushing mess who doesn’t know what to do with himself.

date nights with him sometimes consist of drives on his bike and stargazing at a nice little spot he found in blazewood. then halfway through, he’d get distracted from seeing the stars in your eyes and think that its a hundred times better than the real thing and fall in love all over again.

this is one of the random play managers we’re talking about, so. movie date nights are mandatory. both of you alternate when picking movies but sometimes you bicker over options like an old married couple just for the fun of it.

a lot more chill when it comes to PDA but he can be flirty when he wants to be. if he knows you have a weak spot for it, he uses it to his advantage to get what he wants. scheming little minx. /pos

words of affirmation and quality time guy, i think. since he's always so busy with managing the store and completing commissions alongside belle as proxies, he makes the most out of the time you guys can spend together alone. even if it's just laying in his bed or on the couch doing nothing together sometimes.
