This is the final chapter, final hurray, final EVERYTHING for Seed Wolf. Although this last chapter is included in the physical book, I wanted to include it in my Tumblr updates and on AO3.

Words truly can't express how I'm feeling. Really, truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! Every like, comment, interaction, chat, everything that has led me to have the courage to finish this mammoth project, I have treasured each one of them.

For a long time I didn't think I could finish this, but to know that, even after my failings and having to wait so many years, people were still supportive of me, still thinking about this silly little series... I cannot ever be grateful enough.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but generally the first thing I want to do whenever I’ve read something awesome on AO3 is check out everything else the author has written in the same fandom. So it’s a little annoying that the tags in AO3 fic headers take you to the side-wide tag results – nothing author-specific – while clicking the author’s name often means hunting through dozens of other fandoms for the one you want.

So being exactly that sort of nerd, I wrote a Greasemonkey script to fix it. Here’s how it looks in action.

You can find it here on greasyfork. Should work on Greasemonkey (Firefox), Violentmonkey (Firefox and Chrome) and Tampermonkey (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge and pretty much anything else). Read on below if you need more help sorting out how to install it – I realise not everyone’s an old hand with this stuff.

Please do share this one if you’re so inclined – I’m sure this could be useful to more folks if they know it’s out there.

What it does

You’ll need to have a fic open to see the script in action – only tags in fic headers are affected, not search listings.

For ‘standard’ tags (freeform, rating, category): the script will add an extra asterisk after each tag with a link to filtered results for [that tag] + [the author]. You can customise the script to use a different character/s, but *’s are the default.

For ‘important’ tags (fandom, character and pairing): we go a step further and print the number of fics that user has posted using that same tag, to show at a glance which links are worth checking out. Anything greater than 1 (meaning yes, the author has posted more with this tag) appears in bold.

Having a date for the comic is a bit difficult, but I was thinking of maybe making a mailing list alert of people who would be interested? I’m not sure how I’d wrangle that, but would that be something you think you (or others) might be interested in?

Thank you to everyone who voted on the name change!

In working on the comic and editing a few things here and there in past chapters to get it ready for printing, I decided to change the name of the ‘parent’ company where Seed Wolf comes from. I figured... well, Stiles is a Seed Fox, so why should the company limit its branding to only one creature? And thanks to all your votes on my Twitter, the name has now changed to ‘Seedlings’!

Don’t worry, everyone, the comic is still called ‘Seed Wolf’ (since it revolves around our favourite little creature)! But now Peter has a better website name to distribute these little Seeds from!

Okay, so I’m revisiting some chapters of Seed Wolf to fix up some details I missed or messed up in getting it ready for print.

So I need some help with a detail I’m going to be changing.

I’m going to change the name of the website Peter runs from ‘Seed Wolf’ to something more inclusive, since Seed Stiles is a fox and in the SW universe there are a lot of different Seed Animals, not just Wolves.

So. I’m putting this out there for voting and comments.
