it takes everything within pandora to not roll her eyes. no, she's better than this. calm, collected, cool-headed. she won't allow him to rile her up. not tonight. despite her thoughts, her nose scrunches up at his compliment, instantly betraying herself. the feint blush that spreads across her cheeks indicate that she took his words to heart. sure, she hears it often. being told that she's pretty, beautiful, whatever other words that the smooth talkers throw at her.

but, sampo doesn't need to do that with her. that's why she's caught off guard for a breath. it's not as though he's gaining anything from wooing her through sly remarks. other than .. messing with her ? maybe that's all it is to him, a joke. and that's fine. they each have their own way of getting through life. how does she manage ? she hasn't quite figured it out.

     Sampo Koski always prides himself in looking good, because... He's tall, blue,  &&  handsome !  This would not be his first time accompanying someone to a function, nor would it likely be his last, he's even had to ask others to go with him for his own efforts, but being at the mercy of another puts him in a special spot. Perhaps he's a little underdressed with the intention of embarrassing her. However, he could just as easily claim that it's to make her stand out  &&  look good. Pandora looks absolutely amazing in that dress, fitting her well  &&  appreciatively in a few areas    ⸻    snooping serpentine hues had looked her over moments before he was forcibly yanked down.

     The part of him that strives to make any occasion flip in his favor wants him to let out a yelp that ousts whatever confidence he had in striding up to her. Instead, he chooses to temper himself, the feline-like curls of his lips stretching into something more smug. He's satisfied with their proximity, something of her own making.  &&  this is more than enough for him to assess the situation, corner of his eyes crinkling in twisted delight.

honestly, sampo agreed to go with her to a party, yet did not come prepared ? consider her annoyed before they even enter into the venue.

she doesn't even gesture for him to lean down, pandora straight up reaches for his collar to forcibly tug him down to be closer to eye level. then, she reaches her hand up to fix the strands of hair that had been bothering her. while she's here, her hands lower to smooth out his jacket.

pandora chews on her bottom lip. her nerves are starting to get the better of her. it should be a normal job. go in, find out the information needed, and then leave. why does it feel like something awful awaits them inside ?

he leans forward, bringing his face closer to hans'. a finger lifts, to silence whatever thought that might be entering into his mind, as if to say hold on, don't think yet. he steps back, turns away and reaches into his bag to grab something. when the item is found, another minute passes as he lifts the black eyeliner to draw something underneath his right eye.

once finished, he resumes his earlier position, though this time, there's a hastily drawn teardrop on his face. he uses that same finger from before to then point to the drawing. " .. which, makes me sad. "

storm hc for the day is he has a sick sister that he's in care of and 99% of the crap he forces himself to do (reaver duties, those uncomfortable parties he plays at, any and all odd jobs that he takes on bc lets be real his pay sucks and is nowhere near enough to pay off medical bills) is for her.

storm never mentions his sister first. if your muse finds out about her somehow (documents, overhearing about her in a conversation, eavesdropping on a phone call, etc) then he will eventually warm up to the idea of talking about her.

when storm does talk about his sister, it is very obvious fairly quickly how much he adores and loves her. his eyes seem to light up whenever she's mentioned, especially when people ask him about her just to .. ask him.

storm is overprotective of his sister. if he gets any sort of ill intentions towards her from another, he will not hesitate to stand up for her, which .. has resulted in him getting knocked around several times in the past.

the government used his sister to force him into being a reaver. basically, it was "your sister dies or lives depending on if you agree or not". and they 100% use this against him whenever he doesn't want to do something or tries to voice his opinion in a way that the government disagrees with.

" do you mean to tell me that you're not the typical heroic type who just jumped in to save me ? if not you, then who ? a shapeshifter who's stolen your identity ? " as if uttering those words were enough to make them true, pandora shudders. she doesn't like the idea that there could be strange entities like that circling around her.
