Though more than familiar with being a silent observer, a secret watcher, a stalking protector... Hornet had to admit that finally being on the receiving end of such behavior was incredibly unpleasant.

Whoever they were, they had been watching for a little more than five minutes now. Quiet and motionless, at least for the most part. Little things betrayed their presence, the snapping of a twig or the rustling of foliage. Hornet's senses were sharp, only dulled by the injury to her shoulder and the exhaustion from the journey. Significant issues, but not enough to be completely debilitating.

She kept her gaze low. Best not to let them know she was aware. Perhaps they'd move on their own...
