KEITH’S DEBUT WITH KNOCKBACK CANCELED + SUPPOSEDLY LEFT 2K ENTERTAINMENT

After being under fire for his supposed dating scandal, 2K Entertainment has released more statements regarding the situation. On the 21st of June, Keith was spotted getting cozy with a girl outside of a hotel, this girl has now been revealed to be the Japanese instagram model ‘Yonemura Miyumi’. The matter gained great attention as netizen strongly started disagreeing with the male’s participation in Knockback’s debut, some even creating petitions to remove the idol from the group before their debut date. On June 23rd, 2K Entertainment revealed they’d be discussing the matter at hand with the trainee before making any harsh decisions but would be working on finding a fitting punishment. After 2 days, a representative has finally released another statement. 

‘Following the negative attention, we have approached Keith and had a honest conversation with him. Though he denies the dating rumours, he has admitted to those pictures were indeed him and has been reflecting on behavior. Together, we have decided on a fitting punishment for him as he broke the dating rules within our label. Hereby he will not be participating in Knockback’s debut and will take his time apart to be reflecting on his actions. We hope you will continue to support Knockback as they have been working hard to show the best possible side of themselves. Thank you for your understanding. We will work harder to give our best support to Knockback.’ The representative of 2K Entertainment released, confirming that Keith will no longer be part of Knockback.

Aside from that statement, Keith had taken to his social media to release a statement on his own in the form of an apology letter. ‘Hello, this is Keith who will now be going by Yijeong. I sincerely apologize for me inconsiderate actions, I broke the rules and therefor accept the consequences that follow. I’m saddened but I understand there was not much I could do. I’m sorry to those who have been supporting me and have been looking forward to seeing me stand on stage. I will be reflecting in this time and I will be working on finding a place fitting for me. For the time being, I hope you will support Knockback and I hope you will not allow my inconsiderate actions to reflect on them as a group as this has been all on me. That was it as Knockback’s Keith, Goodbye.’ He stated on his Instagram. Many wonder if he has been kicked out of 2K Entertainment due to his words ‘I will be working on finding a place fitting for me.’ But for now all we know is that he will no longer be part of Knockback.

KNOCKBACK’S KEITH SPOTTED GETTING COZY WITH  A GIRL OUTSIDE OF A HOTEL

On June 21st, a couple of pictures were  posted onto an internet community along with a witness’s claim of seeing undebuted group Knockback’s Keith getting cozy with a yet unknown girl. The two were spotted embracing and sharing intimate moments. The witness also confirms spotting Keith making his entrance into the hotel with the unknown girl on his arm, giving many the idea that there must be something between the two.

The scandal has led some negative light onto Knockback, the group that Keith is part of, as the group has yet to make their debut and is in the midst of their predebut project in which they are set to release a couple of MV’s. The girl involved has not yet been revealed, neither have there been taken any pictures of her. Netizen stated; ‘Tsk, he didn’t even debut yet and is already getting into scandals, he should be more careful..’, ‘Already ruining the group, he should just leave before they debut!’, ‘He probably got a hotel to fool around with the girl ㅋㅋㅋ, be more careful next time… foolish!’. 

Since the release of the news, 2K Entertainment released a statement regarding the idol and the matter at hand. ‘We were not aware of the matter until these pictures were released, we are currently approaching Keith in regards to what happened to figure out what was going on. Our rookie idols and undebuted idols are under a strict no-dating policy. If the rumours are indeed true, we will find an appropriate punishment. We will get back at everyone once we have some more information. Please refrain from spreading more rumours meanwhile.’

PROMPT:  MAY 26, 2017  --  “FAMILY” ( Date: April 25, 2005 )

A strong scent of gasoline pierced his nose, his fingers moved and his breath hitched. The darkness had him frightened for his life for a split second, until he remembered to open his eyes. It seemed quiet, almost peaceful but that was all but the truth. The fear hadn’t yet properly settled, he was still busy adjusting to his surroundings and to the situation, trying to comprehend where he was and what had happened for him to be in such a situation. His sight seemed to be distorted, it was blurry and there was a red hue.. why was there red, this had never happened before. He tried to move his legs but neither of them responded, like something was weighing him down.

Two full minutes passed. It felt like an eternity, but finally the pieces fell together. Through the wreckage, he managed to free his arm and rub his eyes. The red hue disappeared and the blurriness slowly faded. The clearer his situation became, the more his head started hurting. Gaze wandered down to his hand only to find blood, it didn’t take long to piece it together. He was bleeding. Finally he took a proper look around. It was a mess, there was blood everywhere and he found himself on what seemed to be the ceiling of a turned car. His legs weren’t moving, they couldn’t. As he looked to find the cause, he realized he was stuck underneath the wreckage of the car. 

Panic started rushing through his body, he couldn’t move and therefor couldn’t leave this scary situation. His first thought and way to possibly get himself to safety was by asking help from his mother. She’d been in the car with him, his last proper memory being that he was in the back seat as they drove to meet his father. Hurriedly, he lifted his head to search around for her. It was a mess, the car was overturned and glass was everywhere. With all their belongings spread all over the floor, it was hard to see where he was, or any of his surroundings for that matter. 

But that’s when he spotted her, surrounded by a pool of blood as she was wedged in between the chair and the car seat and the steering wheel. ‘Mom.’ He wanted to yell, but there was barely any sound aside from a throaty whine. She didn’t respond, in fact, she didn’t move. He could see her clearly, the more he opened his eyes. She was in an uncomfortable position, not just that.. she was in an inhuman positions.. limbs bend in a way he couldn’t imagine any human do. Blood, even more blood. She was covered in blood, everywhere he looked he could see red. ‘Mom!’ But yet again no response, not a twitch, nothing. The red started fading and his world turned dark again.

He was young, only eleven years old, but he was well aware of his situation. It wasn’t hard to grasp, even as a kid. Not while being surrounded by dozens of broken people, by endless tears being shed. The day had gone by just like that, from the moment he arrived ‘til his last few minutes with her. He was standing in front of the wooden casket, a firm had on his shoulder as he stared down at the lifeless body. She was pretty, beautiful. Her makeup was done, her hair seemed just a little more neat than he was used to. But it was unnatural, she never looked like this, so untouched, so perfectly calm. She always dressed well but her hair would just be a little more tousled, her clothes would be slightly out of place, because that’s who she was. A busy person who couldn’t always be perfect and peaceful because she had things to do. But she was perfect now, and that would always be his last image of her, peaceful and beautiful. Like nothing was wrong at all.

“eat as much as you want,” jayden brought the black plastic bag to the surface of the table. there haven’t been many chances for him to bond with his members since they had all been busy with their own activities. but, their debut was at the point of being finalized, so they were going to be seeing each other a lot. he noticed the older male’s interest in his laptop and turned it slightly so that he would have a better view, “i’m trying to find songs to learn on the piano. do you have any suggestions for me, hyung?” he wasn’t the best at making conversation with others, but he wasn’t going to stop trying. “are there any new songs you like?”

He had to admit he was probably one of the hardest people to get close to, not because he was disinterested but because he often had trouble expressing himself and coming off as though he enjoyed conversations when he in fact really did. He had tried stepping out of his way to approach the younger, wanting to change this distance. ‘Anything Yiruma would fit right?’ he asked though he kept his gaze on the plastic bag while taking out  the food offered earlier on. Perhaps this way he could find himself getting closer to the younger, he may have been a bit of a difficult person but the effort would surely be noticed right?

jeon’s favorite hobby aside from cooking is to spend time in the gym. he loves to get fit - not for glamour sake but to stay healthy. every morning is consist of routines to supplement this kind of lifestyle whilst it is no surprising that jeon is good, rather excellent in handling this kind of activities. he salute the younger though, for he did not expected him to last that long ( based on the previous experiences ), still it is not enough for the adrenaline junkie to halt him. “you can take a break while I finish my last two rounds.” he said, determined to drench in his own sweat. however, seeing the look on the younger’s face as he offered the towel, did made him paused. “fine, you can rest as much as you want, but I’ll return after five minutes.”

He himself had been finding joy in spending time at the gym but both him and his body had a limit. Though he had not been working out for too long, he had gotten reasonably good at keeping his body fit-- nonetheless it was still a long work out session which had mostly been adjusted to the other’s usual sessions which were a whole lot longer than Yijeong’s. Though the pleading had not helped, he still decided to give up and leave the other for what it was while collapsing himself onto the floor a few feet away, drenched in sweat. ‘I forgot how tiring this was.’ usually he’d go by himself and he’d go on his own pace and take as long as he personally felt would suit his body more but the other seemed to have no limit and going with whatever routine he had set had not been a great idea. ‘You’re like the rock.. as in Dwayne Johnson, it’s insane.’

“you will?” she says, a small cough escaping her mouth as she tries to speak. shoot, was she getting a cold? that would be the worst thing for her voice. “thank you.” mingxia watches as the building roll by and before she even know it, they have pulled up at the dorm’s drive way. “well, you’re kinda old,” she teases before letting out a small laugh. she steps out of the car, murmuring a soft thanks as she does. leading the way inside, she wraps the blanket he had given her tighter around her body, a shiver running down her spine. “let’s take the elevator. we’re at the seventh floor.”

‘Yeah, I will.’ He confirmed following her question, leaving her alone would only make him feel anxious and scared something would happen to her and though he was the type to act indifferent about everything, he still cared to a certain extend. Enough to not have her suffer alone. ‘Alright, lets.’ he agreed while he followed her into the said elevator, though he knew of the building he didn’t know his way around and relied on her to show him. ‘Have you been feeling like this for long?’ he asked, wondering for how long she’d been walking around sick like this without anyone pointing it out and keeping her from going to practice yet again.

Everything is about timing and I’m always either too early or too late.

for over a year and a half, he had been training, unsure that he would ever have a chance to debut. the company must’ve saw something in him to suddenly add him to the line-up of knockback. he, however, had a bit of an age gap with his members. it was hard for him to get used to frequently being around others, he was so used to being to himself. the fact that he was a foreigner probably would’ve made it more difficult to bond with the other boys, but, luckily, two of the members spoke languages in which he was fluent in. jayden saw the older male’s efforts though and he appreciated it. “uh.. i think i’m doing okay, i guess.” a rather awkward chuckle slipped as he continued to type on the keyboard of his laptop. “ah, hyung, have you eaten? i bought some kimbap before coming in this morning. i probably bought more than i can eat.”

He’d never been good at being the type to talk about his feelings and offering comfort, but he knew how it was being the new kid and the foreigner, so he had wanted to try his best to make it just a little less hard for the other. But fortunately, it seemed as though the other was holding up just fine, which was quite the relief as that way he wouldn’t have to walk on his toes and be careful al the time. ‘I haven’t actually.’ he admitted, leaning back as he peeked over to the male’s computer screen just to see what he was up to. ‘I’ll have some.’ Of course, assuming this was what the other was hinting at, he definitely wouldn’t say no to free food. Not that he hadn’t already eaten enough but a snack here and there, it wouldn’t hurt anyone.
