"Go on." Villain tilted Hero's head upwards. "Swallow the poison for me." With a frightened look, they obliged and swallowed it. Shuddering as the cold liquid took effect almost immediately. Sinking to their knees, they clutched their chest as they started coughing. "It burns, doesn't it?" They asked them oh so nicely, patting them on the head. Hero made a face of agony, trying not to let the poison take hold of them. They tugged on Villain's sleeve, as if they were expecting something. "Oh, you want the antidote?" They raised their eyebrows. "There is no antidote." Their eyes widened with fear, tears spilling out from their eyes. "But don't worry, your efforts won't go to waste."
