Fact: Almost EVERYBODY in Pinas is Guilty of Plagiarism - MOVE ON PINAS!

Nitong mga nakaraang linggo ay naging mainit sa balita at pahayagan ang pangalan ni Senator Tito Sotto. Di umano, siya'y guilty sa pag plagiarize ng blog ng isang foreigner. Ang article sa nasabing blog ay ginamit niya upang ipahayag ang kanyang panig sa nagbabagang debate sa RH Bill.

At dahil sa sobrang init ng issue  na tinatalakay (RH Bill), marami ang nag-aabang sa kung ano ang sasabihin ng bawat nasa posisyon. Marami ang masusing hinihimay ang bawat pahayag ng mga public officials. Isa na sa mga nahimay na pahayag ay ang pahayag ni Senator Sotto.

Totoo. Di na niya maikakaila, kahit ano pang deny at pagpapalusot ang gawin nya. Siya ay guilty sa kasong Plagiarism.

Ang tanong ko lang - Sino ba ang hindi guilty sa Plagiarism? 

Kung dapat ikulong ang bawat taong guilty of Plagiarism, may matitira pa kaya sa Pilipinas? May isang tao kayang makapagsasabi sa akin , na kahit kailan, kahit nung estudyante pa sila, ay hindi sila nagkasala ng Plagiarism??

Hindi ko sinasabing tama ang gawaing ito. Hindi ko rin pina-panigan si Tito Sotto. Ang sa akin lang, kung makapang husga at makapang yurak tayo ng pagkatao ng iba, bakit muna tayo mag muni muni kung tayo ba mismo ay naging sangkot din sa isang krimen na tulad nito.

Sa araw araw na pumapasok sa eskwelahan ang mga estudyante, sa bawat home works na ginagwa nila, mapa high school man sila o college, o di kaya ay post graduate, di mo mai-aalis sa kanila ang karapatan na maghanap ng mga sagot sa kanilang assignment sa internet or reference books. Mag aabala pa ba silang sabihin ang pinag-mulan ng impormasyong nakuha nila?? - sasabihin ko sayo, HINDI.

Maging ang mga propesyonal ay hindi wala rin ligtas sa issue na ito. Karamihan kasi sa atin ngayon iniisip, masyadong maraming impormasyon ang makukuha sa internet, ga-tuldok lang itong impormasyon na kailangan ko kaya imposibleng malaman nila na hindi ito original na nagmula sa akin.

Naging estudyante din ako, at alam ko naging estudyante ka din...at kahit ikaw pa ay propesyonal na sa ngayon.. alam ko na kahit minsan, kahit isang beses lang ay nagkasala rin tayo sa buhay natin ng Plagiarism. Di natin kailangan mag malinis. Kailangan lang natin aminin ang katotohanan, at baguhin ang maling nakagawian.

Iyan siguro malamang ang pagkakaiba natin kay Senator Tito Sotto. O, mas tama ba kung sasabihin kong, Iyan SANA ang pagkakaiba natin kay Senator Tito Sotto?

Si Senator Sotto ay binigyan ng maraming pagkakataon upang aminin at humingi ng tawad sa kanyang pagkakamali. Sinayang niya ito. Sadya sigurong, matigas ang kanyang puso at isip..hirap na hirap siyang lunukin ang kayang Pride.

Sana tayong mga Pilipino ay huwag ng pumaris pa sa kanya. Maging mas magaling at mas matalino sana tayo pagdating sa issue na ito. Paano natin ito gagawin?

Tanggapin natin na tayo din ay may sala. Tanggapin natin na mali ang ating nagawa. Aminin natin ito...Humingi ng tawad sa nagawang pagkakamali... Buong pusong simulan ang pagbabago.

Sa paraang ito masasabi nating mas magaling tayo kay Senator Sotto. Mas may prinsipyo tayo.

Wag sana natin ilubog ang pagkatao natin sa pamamagitan ng pamimintas, panghuhusga, at pagsasabi ng masama sa taong nagkamali.., hindi ba dapat ay tulungan pa natin siya sa tamang landas? Ngunit kung siya mismo ay hindi naniniwalang maling landas ang tinahak nya..ay wala na tayong magagawa. Hindi na natin kailangan aksayahin ang ating intelekto at oras para lamang punain siya. Mas maganda siguro kung ang iisipin natin..ay kung paano ang pangyayaring ito ay hindi natin matutularan..at hindi matutularan ng sambayanan.

Sa huli, nais ko lang sabihin na bawat isa sa atin ay siguradong nagkasala na ng Plagiarism... aminin na natin ito.... tanggapin ang katotohanan... humingi ng tawad...at mag move on... Wag na nating ulitin ang nakakahiyang kamalian na ito..at sana rin.. wag na nating husgahan, bastusin , ang mga taong nagkasala ng ganito..Mas maganda kung magtutulungan tayo. Wag tayong maghilaan pababa mga kapwa ko Pilipino. Magtulungan tayo.

Because of Gilas, I am Proud to be Pinoy

August 26, 2012  is the day where Philippine Basketball once again made history.

WE WON OUR 4TH JONES CUP TITLE.. ( and this is our 1st in  this century)!!

Gilas- Pilipinas 2.0 is not a perfect team. As what Coach Chot Reyes said..the team has no  PBA MVP in the line up...no basketball superstars..and most of their players are 1st timers in playing as part of national team.

But how did they made the difference? I can only point out to one answer. HEART ( sa Tagalog ay PUSO) .. A Heart that is willing to fight..and refuses to give up..A Heart that LOVES THE COUNTRY AND BASKETBALL.. It's their heart that made the  BIG DIFFERENCE.

Coach Chot never lost his heart during the game, and so as the entire team, that's how they won..they stay focused!

"The HEART of every player of GILAS-PILIPINAS that battled into the Jones Cup did not just move mountains... THEY MOVED THE ENTIRE NATION.  "

When it comes to basketball...(like Boxing) ..the whole nation was again united. The whole nation felt the heroic sacrifices of the players of Gilas. Yes, it is heroic. It's the only word that pops out in my mind everytime I watch their games. And everytime they win..it made me proud to be a Filipino. Height advantage?? Athleticism??- so what?? Even the Gilas Team thinks that they're not that strong..- It might be the truth..- again..so what?? Their Heart that never surrenders for our country and their love for basketball - Their Heart..Their Love... fueled them..from being (what others say..and what they sometimes consider) Weak..to become the strongest.

BASKETBALL IS NOT FOR THE WEAK AT HEART, they say. It's true. IT IS SO DAMN TRUE.

Couple of games where in Gilas played, their wins was like what we always call a "come-from-behind victory" . Couple of times they're down in the game by how many points and it's nearing 4th quarters deadly buzzzer..but they did not lose heart. They stayed cool and followed their game plan. And then behold.. all of a sudden, they tied the game...and then..couple of minutes more..they are ahead by some points! I can't help but think that it must be their destiny, winning this game. It must be because they never lose faith.. it must be because they've always given their best shot in every game... God guide them into winning. And yes.. they reached the finals. It was against USA. It almost drained all my hopes of them winning. I know they too felt the pressure. But they didn't allow negative feelings to sway them from following their game plan.

And so the  final game of Gilas Pilipinas proves that basketball is not for the weak at heart once again. And this time, they put a huge exclamation point to it. Almost the entire game..USA was on the lead. Even in 4th quarter, their still 8pts behind! And if they're weak at heart, that game was as good as done. But they're not!!  They refuse to lose! They fought back with all their mights! - I was really teary eyed the whole 4th quarter.. my hands were trembling with fear and excitement - and i'm not even in the game. What about them? How do they feel? How are they coping up with pressure...? How did they managed to win? - Well of course, as what I always say since the beggining of this blog, it's their heart!

What makes me a PROUD PINOY?

Everytime I watch the games of Gilas, I can feel their genuine love for our country. Yes, genuine. You'll see that they're not playing to be recognized nor to be called superstars. Their playing to bring honor to our country. And you will see it during the game- teamwork effort to bring great defensive stops to the opponent.. good ball movement...great chemistry alll in all in the court! They might come up late most of the time, but still they did come back...

so....

For a Heart that never surrender no matter what....

      For a Heart that  genuinely love their country......

              For a Heart like the players of Gilas gave to the nation ...

I will be  forever proud to be Pinoy.. :))

PBA is NOT FIXED. PERIOD!

"PBA is NOT FIXED. PERIOD! If you think otherwise GIVE ME SOME DECENT EVIDENCE!"

It's actually PBA Off season while I'm writing this, and there's actually no major issues regarding the winners of last season. There are NO ISSUES! But the fans are making one. Maybe it's their defense mechanism working... RATIONALIZATION they call it.

"Rationalization is putting something into a different light or offering a different explanation for one’s perceptions or behaviors in the face of a changing reality."

It's normal..i know. But it's just so pathetic that fans would think that the game was fixed just because their favorite team lost. - What will they think if their team won?? Fixed?? of course not!!

What I hate in this kind of issue is that they make PBA games a BIG JOKE..which they shouldn't ... or if those type of fans are thinking it's fixed..then they should stop watching..and so they can stop complaining..- Their actions just don't make any sense...!! They're like a bunch of HYPOCRITES!!

And I pity fans like them.. why?? (I believe I've explained it best in one of my comments in FB)  :))

I'm hoping and praying that this kind of non sense issue would just disappear. The solution is just a simple manner of acceptance. In a game, your team could either win or lose. If they win...good..if they lose.. then  accept the reality and move on.. pray for them to win the next game.

Lastly..I hope that fans of PBA themselves will not tarnish the integrity of PBA just because their ego can't accept their team's lost. PBA is for everybody..not just for the satisfaction of a single person..or specific fans..
