THE COWFISH
Tumblr media
SHASHIMI AT COWFISH
Admittedly, I haven’t had anything else from The Cowfish. I completely blame that on how good their Shashimi is because I always have to get it. The smaller option (pictured above) makes a great lunch. The larger one often feeds us both when sharing since it comes with a lot more fish and seafood options including shrimp. So if you’re on a bit of a budget but still want to experience the taste, sharing is the way to go!
Both the Salmon and Yellowtail are especially buttery and melt in your mouth. I’m personally not the biggest fan of Tuna but even I can’t help myself from eating it when it comes on this plate. If you’re a raw fish enthusiast and haven’t tried The Cowfish at Universal City Walk then you are missing out.

FLUSHED AWAY
If you’re like me, it’s imperative to know where to do it when you have to do it. Yes, we all do it, but even if it’s just to freshen up rather then feel relief here’s our guide for the best and worst bathrooms on Universal Orlando theme park properties.
Now, this is by no means a sort of guide that has to be taken to a tee. Especially considering we haven’t visited every restroom Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure has to offer. However, based on our experiences we’ve gathered the following information...
DIAGON ALLEY : UNIVERSAL STUDIOS.
The restrooms in Diagon Alley, like Hogsmeade, usually see a lot of traffic. honestly, I avoid them if I can. That said, you should experience them at least once for the design as they are modeled after the restroom Arthur Weasley and Harry Potter use to enter the Ministry in the Order of the Phoneix movie.
ENTRANCE BATHROOMS : BOTH PARKS.
It’s safe to say that the entrance bathrooms for both parks are usually well maintained.  Whether that’s because they receive adequate attention from cleaning staff or because they are often overlooked by guests visiting the park. If you’re looking for a less then hectic spot to battle the duke of brown or check on your make-up; these locations are by far one of the best places to do it.
At Universal Studios these bathrooms are located to the right as you come in through the main gates. Now, we’re talking about the Studio Audience Center Restroom which is located A F T E R you’ve had your ticket checked. They also have a family restroom available.
At Islands of Adventure these bathrooms are located to the left through the main gates of the Port of Entry called Water Works Authority Resterooms. It should be noted that the STUDIOS restroom is usually better maintained then Islands.
GASOLINE ALLEY, WIMPY’S AND TOON LAGOON RESTROOMS : ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE.
These restrooms are always wet. Gasoline Alley and Wimpy’s are usually the worst ones as they are closest to the water rides. People are trying to dry up, change out of their soaked clothes RIGHT AFTER they finish riding, or frantically pulling at toilet paper, paper towels and hand dryers as if it’s going to do anything to help their predicament.
The traffic doesn’t help either. Those bathrooms are never not full and chances are you could have dried off enough to not be dripping as you make your way to another section of the park and use the restroom there.
GOTHAM ICE COMPANY : UNIVERSAL STUDIOS.
Okay, let’s take a minute to talk about my  f a v o r i t e  restrooms in both parks. I’ve had way more positive experiences with these restrooms than I do with any other. Traffic is usually low and they are usually well maintained. If I gotta play Call of Dooty I play it here. It’s also super convenient for vapers to take a quick CBD break or to rest tired feet. The space outside is well spread out with tables and chairs and it’s got a wicked entrance modeled after the Gotham Ice Company from Batman and Robin.
HOGSMEADE BATHROOM : ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE.
If you’re a Potter fan, then it’s worth using this restroom at least once or during  a slow day. If nothing else to experience the design and Moaning Myrtle yelling at you as you’re trying to do your business. However, I wouldn’t make this a go-to bathroom. On a regular day there is usually a line and constant traffic means maintenance does their magic but two seconds later it feels like they didn’t (totally not their fault! It’s just the influx of people).  If you really gotta go, try to make it to another land. I wouldn’t even recommend this as a pit-stop since you usually have to wait.
JURASSIC PARK RESTROOMS : ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE.
Like Toon Lagoon, JP suffers from the bathrooms being wet. However, it’s not as a horrific sight as Toon Lagoon and after a certain time (when less people are riding the water rides) it’s actually quite bearable if you’re keeping dry. That said, I’d probably only use this restroom if your making a quit pit-stop.
LONDON RESTROOMS : UNIVERSAL STUDIOS.
Located to the left right before the stadium, it’s a handy place to relieve yourself and also check the wait times for rides ever since they put a sign there. Usually clean and a much better spot compared to Diagon Alley; just walk the extra bit and save yourself the hassle.
LOST CONTINENT RESTROOMS : ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE.
Located near the Voyage of Sinbad (RIP), these bathrooms are relatively mellow. I’ve never had to wait in line and since most guests overlook them they are usually kept clean. They also have a family restroom.
MARVEL RESTROOMS : ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE.
Okay, if you’re like me you hate being in wet clothes but love water rides. It’s a curse, I know. I always opt to change my clothes. Whether into something that can get wet or out of something that has been wet. Do yourself a favor...AVOID THE RESTROOMS IN TOON LAGOON. They are never not wet. I mean...WET. The walls, the toilets, I don’t know how water gets everywhere but it does! That said, don’t abuse the Marvel restrooms. Let yourself dry off a bit and then change.
The Marvel restrooms are located on the left right before the stadium and Toon Lagoon games and the traffic is pretty mellow. It also helps that they’re well maintained.
MOOSE JUICE RESTROOMS : ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE.
Q. Q is for Quan. Quan is for Quandary. That’s all you’re going to hear outside of this Seuss Landing bathroom located to the left right before you enter lost continent. By far, my favorite rest area in this park next to the Marvel one. For being a bathroom in a kids area its actually well maintained — or maybe that’s why IT IS maintained. Either way, I always opt to use this restroom when I’m on this side of the park. I’ve also never experienced a wait.
MUSIC PLAZA RESTROOMS : UNIVERSAL STUDIOS.
This bathroom is always hit or miss. I’ve experienced going in and out some days and waiting longer than I should have on others. It’s also pretty hit or miss how clean it is. If you gotta go, I’d make it a pit-stop.
WORLD EXPO : UNIVERSAL STUDIOS.
These restrooms are located right outside of Men in Black and honestly hit or miss. It’s a popular ride, so it can see a lot of traffic or none at all. I’d risk it for a pit-stop.
