It was actually Shin Hakyun who suggested to director Shim Nayeon that for this scene, Yeo Jingoo (as Han Joowon) should hold him (as Lee Dongsik).

Which means the way Dongsik reached up to hold on to Joowon’s hand—that’s Hakyun’s own adlib as well.

And so was the way Joowon pressed his mouth to Dongsik’s shoulder. That’s Jingoo’s adlib, too.
