Dear YOI Fans,

Yuri!!! On Ice isn’t my main fandom anymore, but in light of the cancellation announcement, I feel like right now is a good time to try and complete this blog as far as I can.

If you have merch, or high quality scans, or can take high quality pictures of official art/merch that I haven’t shared in a decent quality on here yet, please reach out to submit the pictures so I can complete the archive. I’ve spent a lot of time in the past hunting for the highest quality pictures I could find, but I wasn’t always successful.

If you don’t have merch or the pictures I’m looking for, please share this post so it can reach those who could help me out 💙

I have a specific tag (���to replace with higher quality”) on this blog for art that I wish to replace with higher quality, additionally I will pin this post and add a Google doc with all the art I’m looking for once I’m done putting that doc together. So please watch this space!

Official cancellation announcement for Ice Adolescence

Unfortunately the Yuri!!! On Ice movie “Ice Adolescence” has been officially cancelled by Mappa on the 19th of April 2024 on Twitter.

Regarding the postponed release of “Yuri!!! On Ice the movie: Ice Adolescence”, we have come to the decision to unfortunately cancel its production.

We deeply apologize for not being able to meet the expectations of all those who have been waiting and have continued to support us throughout these years.

The production committee and staff have been in constant discussions to create and to deliver the movie, but due to various circumstances, we have had to make the difficult decision to stop the production.

We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been anticipating its release and thank you once again for your continued support.

The second official art in the latest YOI & Mizuno collab for the Olympic Games 2022 Team Japan uniform. Posted on 19th February 2022

New official YOI art in collaboration with Mizuno. Mizuno is the Japanese sportswear brand that designed and provides the Beijing 22 Olympic team uniform, which Yuuri wears in this art. The art was shared on the 26.12.2021 at the end of the Japanese figure skating National championships when the figure skating team for Beijing was announced. Athletes already started wearing the uniform for the press conference, see press photo below:
