since i have deleted some old posts, Winnie is married to Luca and they have 4 children: Noah Xu-Lee (son of Winnie Xu and ex-wife Liberty Lee), Ruby Xu-Lee (adopted daughter of Winnie and ex-wife Liberty Lee), Apple Xu (daughter of Winnie and Luca Xu), & Beckham Xu (adopted son of Winnie and Luca Xu). i might post pictures of all of the kids later (they’re all adult/teen age).

Sulani Redux | Tangled Flat → Super Surf Internet Café

I am so pleased with the number of lots in Sulani—and, of course, with the world as a whole—but with only the bar and two beach lots, it seemed to me like we could use some more community lots for Sims to enjoy! I’m so tired of my sim style so I thought I’d try something a little bit different. Whenever I play HoTS with my hubby I pretty much only play as Murky, so I thought I’d make a Murky inspired sim. I’m thinking about exploring Island Living with her later. I still haven’t settled on a name, but I’m leaning towards Kirby. MRGGGLGLLM!

safety links for downloading cc

as someone who dls a lot of cc from a lot of places, i’ve had to take a LOT of precaution when it comes to safety online for those pesky short links that infect ur computer with random garbage. here are the extensions i personally use to bypass most shitty linkage

disclaimer: please don’t come to me and tell me im taking money from creators by using these extensions. if you want to click on adfly links, go ahead! this is just for the people who don’t. also, don’t take these links as a get out of jail free card for online safety. people are crafty. use common sense to avoid getting a virus. this will just lower your chances of getting a virus, or just save you some annoyance.

adblock plus- p much the most popular extension out there. i use it on all sites even outside of cc downloading. sadly a lot of sites are taking action against adblock, adding counters to their links, or even keeping you from accessing the site at all. it’s easy to disable the extension for single sites though, or you can just leave the site altogether. still, adblock is incredibly useful!

the rest of these extensions are for the google chrome webstore. im sure there are similar extensions for whatever browser you use though. just check your browser’s webstore and im sure you’ll find similar, or you could just switch to google chrome

ad(fly) skipper - bypasses adfly’s counter and takes you straight to your download

short.est skipper - same deal as the last one, and currently my most useful extension, since a lot of creators are using short.est instead of ad.fly lately. short.est is annoying because it has a lot of different redirect urls it can take you to with different domains, but the devs of the extension were good about blocking most, if not all, of the domains short.est uses so it’ll skip it no matter what.

tsr ad skipper - bypasses tsr’s countdown. it’s not necessarily a safety extension, just saves you time and keeps tsr from being more annoying than it has to be.

Service Sims and Townies

As you may know, one of my main issue with the Sims 4 is the endless generation of random sims (because the game need a new mailman, a stall vendor…). Hopefully, I found a mod to limit this, by using an existing sims instead of creating a new one each time there is a role to fill.

But I still needed sims the game could use, so I created the 48 sims you can see above ! All of them have skills, additional traits, two everyday outfits, and nice outfits in all the categories.

The sims in the 3 Service Sims households come with NPC jobs (mailman, maid, nanny…). Don’t go in Live Mode with them (otherwise, they will lose their jobs), install them on a lot then evict them immediately.  They will appear in the Manage Households window, move them in the Other Households tab. If you have no mod for that, it won’t prevent the game to generate new sims to fill the roles, but these sims may be used instead (depending on the jobs, the probability varies).

I also included 3 Townies households. These sims come without jobs, the game may use them to fill some roles (as stall vendor or bartender for exemple). Again, I advise you to install them on a lot then evict them.

I strongly recommand to use Paulson’s NPC Control mod, you can find it here and all the instructions to use it can be found there. This mod limit the generation of sims (the game will use existing homeless and unplayed sims), and allow you to assign roles manually if you want to.
