A long awaited release! Originally I was hoping to release this with custom textures, but for now I just want to be finished with the project. I'll revisit the custom texture idea at some point in the future when I have more interest in it.

As a simmer and (recent) CC creator, it breaks my heart that people are permanently paywalling their creations, breaking EA TOU and causing distress in the community, and for what? Money?

We wouldn’t want our own TOU disrespected, so why disrespect EA’s? You can still make your content early access, but forcing people to pay is just unethical. If your content is of good quality, people will be happy to support you without forcing them to do so, there is no excuse to take away the fun from the rest.

Petition To End Perm Paywalling Creators

Over the last several days, Perm Paywalling creators such as Bergdorfverse, Leosims, AggressiveKitty & Cowbuild have done organized & illegal DMCA attacks/takedowns on my content & several other creators. Due to this & Tumblr's lack of knowledge of EA's Custom Content policies, my Tumblr & other's are at high risk of being DELETED.

I recommend all creators that if you have linked to the Vault or any other free sites with the creators listed above, to please REMOVE those links & photos to avoid having a copyright strike on your account. If not, you are also at risk of having your Tumblr PERMANENTLY REMOVED.

You are able to counter strike the UNLAWFUL strikes these creators have done since EA/The Sims OWN all CC created if listed as a .package for download. Therefore, these creators are abusing their lack of DMCA rights to try to prove a point. However, if you do counter strike, you have to provide legal name, address, email, etc. to creators who are known for DOXING. So, I do not recommend countering if you fear your personal information being leaked.

Now, I urge you all to please join a movement that Jake, (@simstwink) has started by making a petition to have EA finally enforce the rules & policies they made LAST YEAR. We wish to put an end to these toxic Perm Paywalling Creators and protect the creative community of content creators like myself and YOU.

I have provided a link below to the petition that I urge you strongly to sign. Please help protect the content creating community for old simmers like myself and for the new ones to come.

I love all 22K of you IMMENSELY, and wish to say a massive thank you for the platform you've given me. Although this blog will probably be terminated, it will not be the end of me as a creator nor on this platform. The Butterfly Garden will flourish, and I will be back stronger than ever.

Invisible Saddle

Manes + Tails + Draft Mane Decorations

Draft Mane Decorations + Long Pulled Mane + Long Thin Forelock + Short Arabian Forelock + Short Wide Arabian Forelock + Wide Arabian Forelock

Okay so my draft mane decorations are a little janky.. but I think they'll do until someone who can mesh makes them!

Draft Mane Decorations are an accessory item. They are NOT made to be used with a saddle (you have been warned)!

Long Pulled Mane is an edit of an EA mane.

Long Thin Forelock is an edit of an EA forelock. This is also a little messed up in areas but not too noticeable from far away!

Short Arabian Forelock, Short Wide Arabian Forelock, and Wide Arabian Forelock are edits of Yolo's new Arabian forelock! I knew as soon as it came out I wanted to mess around with it in Blender. They aren't necessarily for Arabians - it was just for the sake of keeping my CC organised.

Unfortunately I don't think a non-default replacement would function as wanted, but using this mod together with bridles that have reins included should work.

Arabian Halter

When I first began this project, there were no arabian horse halters around, so I wanted to create this piece of tack to give that last detail for people with arabian horses. I left out the chain to keep it as versatile as possible for different purposes.

BB's Sims 4 Horse Shine Stencil

Hey there,

I finally feel confident enough to give you a first run of my shine stencil. Am I absolutely satisfied with it? Nah. Will I tweak it? Yep. But for now this is what you have from me. ♥ In this preview I'm using a simple black coat as default. I use @minervamagicka's new eyes (they are stunning!!) and I use the notail mod from @yolosimcc.

Also big thanks to @h-emera for your tutorials. Otherwise I would have not been able to make this.

Vacation notice

I’m leaving for a vacation today which means for the next two weeks I have no access to my PC.

I was hoping to release my first set of original CC before I leave, but unfortunately time ran out and I’m not comfortable with releasing them yet. I’ll leave you with a couple of WIPs to hold you over while I’m gone ❤️

Ngl got a bit tired of making so many normal horses, so I decided to make something a bit special. Meet Mr. Bones my very spooky Skeleton Horse! Unlike the normal EA skeleton coat I made this one to be a lot more accurate to a actual horse skeleton while also adding a bit of my own "creep factor" to it especially with the head. Only cc used is @yolosimcc hairless tail. Two-sided EA Manes

They're quick, simple manes duplicated on both sides of the neck. Short length textures were manipulated to replicate a somewhat realistic part in the mane - the other mane textures work reasonably well as is and are therefore original to EA.

For some reason EA’s default shadow textures got borked when imported out of S4S causing weird issues with these edits. My apologies, the issue is now fixed!

Kids Western Saddle

Ok, one last thing for kids before I move on to other things. I was asked to make a western saddle for children, and who am I to deny such a thing? There are some minor clipping issues between the kid and the saddle, but nothing major that you couldn't hide by changing angles. All in all a pretty successful conversion for a first timer!

Kids Saddle And Pads

Today, I was still stuck in this rabbit hole of giving us more stuff for kids. I felt like making more swatches for the EA kids saddle and turning the pad into a separate CAS part.

Based on my testing, the children's riding outfit needs to be the first outfit equipped, otherwise the default saddle will pop up to replace the adult saddle. And if you want an adult sim to ride the same horse, you should equip the adult tack as the second riding outfit and ensure you change the horse's outfit before mounting.
