Mi Ra smiled but tried to contain her little happiness about her friend choosing her before his groupies.  She really appreciated it and it showed how good friends they have become along the time. It was somehow reassuring that she could count on him no matter what or who. “Isn’t there a convention coming up soon? I’m sure they’ll be there.” Some of the girls noticed their stepping away and glanced at Mi Ra, she avoided to look back at them just to avoid any gossip.
It felt a little odd to walk across the airport without locking her arm on his, tapping his shoulder. Skinship between friends was something common to her. But it was for the best, online celebrities such as youtubers were under a lot of drama and expectation from viewers, so they had to avoid feeding any possible rumors.
“A gentleman, like always.” She said, playfully winking as she got inside the car. It felt exciting to listen to him speaking like that but even though she had slept most of her flights, Mi Ra still felt her body being slapped around due to jet lag. Relaxing her muscles, she let herself slide against him, head resting on his shoulder. “It feels good to come to the US in pure vacation. I can finally have a good time without worrying with work.”
His words relieved her and Mi Ra closed her eyes for a second, imagining what she wished to do for that night. "How about some pizza and a movie? That sounds relaxing.”

As Eun stepped back from her, he looked over his shoulder at the fans. A part of him wanted to go back and continue to talk to them. Even though he knew Mi Ra was going to be there for a while, he didn’t really want to throw away any second with her. “They will understand.” Eun promised, giving her an assuring smile.
He began to lead her out of the airport. The instinct to drape an arm over her shoulder came onto him, just as a way to show that he missed his friend, but he didn’t want to give any of his fans the wrong impression. It wouldn’t be good for Mi Ras first ten minutes in LA to have struck online drama, either. So he decided to occupy his hands by helping her with her luggage.
The excitement hadn’t left him at all, he was almost up all night. Mi Ra was undoubtedly his best friend, and although it was possible for them to film together long distance and they talked on Skype all the time, having her there and next to him meant the world. Eun grabbed the handle of the car, pulling it open for her.
He smiled politely to her, his hand falling on her back when she climbed in. “I can’t believe you’re finally here,” Eun laughed when he was sat next to her, slouching down in his seat as he always did. “There are so many things we have to do. So many places we have to go.”
His eyes lingered over her features, the smile remaining on his lips. Although she was beautiful thousands of miles away, she was even more beautiful in person. Eun wanted nothing more than to get started showing her around all the beautiful places, but he understood that she was probably exhausted. “But tonight we can relax.”

Glancing at the device, Mi Ra couldn’t help but to chuckle. Eun always had his own way to be and of course he wouldn’t just stand there waiting for her in the middle of a crowd of strangers. She walked through the airport, being uncomfortable with the amount of people herself. Apparently they shared even their dislikes and sort of phobias. Some of the young adults seemed to recognize her and even waved to her, Mi Ra smiled warmly and waved back but since no one approached her closely, the woman decided to resume her little march towards the main doors.
Once she reached outdoors, it took a few seconds to spot Eun. There was a little of a group around him and Mi Ra observed the little show with amusement. Of the two of them, Eun had a significant greater experience and success in their youtuber career and it wasn’t uncommon to see him being approached by fans. And she had to admit that seeing a group of girls claiming for his attention triggered her jealousy a little bit. But just a little bit.
“Well, aren’t you a popular man. I don’t want to keep you away from your fans.” She peeked at the little group, they were with their eyes on him like he was a piece of gold that just escaped. “You know, I just flew sixteen hours to come see you but go take pictures with them.” Mi Ra started playfully pouting but she couldn’t keep with a straight face and burst into laughter. “No but seriously, if you need a few more minutes I understand.” She poked him on his shoulder and nodded towards the group.
Mi Ra wondered if those girls even recognized her and even if they were also her fans. But it was Eun on the spotlight right now and she preferred to watch him as the fan she was herself.

Eun usually ran late for everything. It was just an ism of his, no matter how hard he tried, he was always late. He didn’t want that to be the case today, though. Sure, Mi Ra was a nice enough person to forgive him for being a couple of minutes late… but he felt it was rude and did not want to let her down.
So he made sure to be at the airport extra early, deciding on taking an Uber instead of driving. As Eun approached the airport, he had his vlog camera in his hand, explaining to the camera the specialty of today and how excited he was to see his good friend again. Even though LA was the YouTube space, he hadn’t really gotten out and been able to make that many friends yet. None close like Mi Ra, at least.
His eyes flickered to a group of girls who began whispering and pointing at him, a breath catching in his throat as they walked over to him. He let out a small laugh, beginning to talk with them. It wasn’t that he was ungrateful and didn’t want to meet fans, he just didn’t like crowds, and one was beginning to form. Eun did what he was supposed to do, though. He spoke with them and he took pictures with them.
The buzzing in his pocket made him pause the little meetup for a second, knowing it was probably Mi Ra. A small smile came onto his lips as he typed back a quick, ‘I’m at the doors!’ He figured it would be rude to leave them.
A couple of minutes passed as he continued to speak with the fans. Eventually, his eyes fell on her through the crowd. Eun quickly apologized to the fans, asking to be excused. He stepped through them, a bright smile on his face as he jogged over to her, pulling her into a tight hug as he reached her. Laughter escaped his lips as he held her tightly, swaying with her. “Hey! You made it! I promise I wasn’t late - it was the fans.” He laughed softly.

@cyrwrites
This wasn’t her first time traveling to the United States. She had been there before in business and pleasure and some times both at the same time. However, this was a slightly different occasion, she had gone to America to visit someone very dear to her. They had been quite close through the last year and now he had moved to overseas and if she would totally honest with herself, Mi Ra wasn’t happy about it. It could be the fact they shared the same nation or also the same passion for gaming but truth was she had found in Eun someone she could trust, laugh and record the most hilarious videos with.
The flight had been peaceful enough, the sixteen hours were passed between sleeping and reading. The previous day had been strategically planned with a 12-hour live stream so she could tolerate so many hours in a metal bird. Getting off the plane, Mi Ra started to wonder if he would be waiting for her after the escalators or only by his car.
↳ Hii! I’m here, my luggage didn’t got lost this time!
Clicking on ‘Send’ button of the messaging app, Mi Ra looked around a little more before reaching to the zone where people usually held signs with the new comers names. It was always exciting to see Eun personally but she was also a little nervous.
