I’m glad you like how you look and are comfortable without wearing make up ❤️

I remember way back when I was in my early teens circa 2014ish and all the girls around me started really getting into makeup and I felt like this internalised pressure to want to fit in with everyone (on top of the poor self-esteem I’ve had since I was 7) but it wasn’t really the most accessible interest/hobby for me (broke and had no internet at home to watch and learn from tutorials) so naturally my insecurity of being terrible at it with cheap products outweighed my insecurity of not wearing any and then a few years later I got my makeup professionally done for a school formal and it made me realise that even with a professional doing it, it didn’t make me feel any less insecure which I thought it would and it actually made me uncomfortable because I felt like I wasn’t being myself and all these years later it’s still a pivotal moment in my (still a very long) journey to loving myself

obviously nothing against the people who like makeup but it does make me happy seeing other people being unapologetically comfortable without it

the best thing to ever happen to me is liking how i look without makeup. sure i have bad days where i get insecure but if people judge me for how i look that is their problem and not mine and they aren’t people i want to be friends with anyway and i genuinely mean that and haven’t for a really long time. never forget how this girl asked me why i never wore makeup and i simply said “i like how i look” and that was just the end of the conversation lmao

What do you think nh4 will be about? Same concept as the show since he’s still in a happy relationship?

he’s never done the same concept twice, so i think even if he is still in a happy relationship while writing a new album, it won’t be the same concept as The Show. i’m just focused on tour rn lol

what do you predict will happen regarding nh4? work on it all of 2025 release 2026 with possible 2026 tour or 2027?

i wouldn’t expect anything from NH4 until 2026 personally, but there’s still so much of the show era to enjoy!!

didn’t he do finally free whilst touring though like obviously that was for a movie so it’s not like he had to think about a whole album or something

also I remember that interview Joel did back when they first started working together about wanting to get Niall into the studio he had just opened and Niall being interested so it would make sense if now was the time even if they weren’t really productive and just decided to work on something that was scrapped from the show without ever being finished idk

also Joel and John going to ACL last year has always made me curious since then like I doubt they just flew to Texas just to hang out at a festival

Idk I just think he likely has been in Joel’s studio but I don’t think it necessarily means he’s working on nh4 in any serious capacity yet or that he’d be recording proper vocals like he could just be coming up with instrumentals and mumbling melodies and lyrics for a song we’ll never hear - at least on an album of his own - at this point

he did do finally free during FWT, but they offered him the entire soundtrack and he had to turn it down because he was touring.

this is all fair! he could very well be working on music in the studio with them for any reason and i hope he is, i love joel

fair enough, he did mention having nh4 inspo playlists on the go during heaven promo last year though which makes me kind of 👀 whenever he vanishes lmao

oh i think he’s definitely writing and playing instruments and stuff at all times, like i’m sure his voice memos are PACKED!!

i just dont think he’e the kind of person to book studio time for only two days or so if that makes sense, especially since he’s surely on vocal rest / vocal care for tour

idk i’m trying to remember from FWT, but i don’t think niall’s the kind of guy to just record in the studio without a set plan for an album, if that makes sense. i think he mainly keeps his ideas in his journal/phone in the meantime
