Elodie || Klaroline • Bellarke • Westallen ||"I can't promise you to be there forever. I'll be nothing else than a void liar. We can't predict what will happen. So I promise you to be there for you, to protect you, Until The End."
OMG i didn’t even picture the dress this way, but it looks SO MUCH BETTER than in my head! Of course if she looked like that my poor boys Nick and Sel couldn’t act straight lol
While watching / reading Legendborn reviews, I noticed that the magic system and terminology used in the novel was confusing so i created a Legendborn vocab guide ! I hope it helps.
Vocabulary:
Onceborns: regular people.
Shadowborns: demons. they feed on / channel “aether” to gain power and visibility. Come through gates to enter the world.
Legendborns: demon hunters. Tasked with protecting humanity from demons and closing gatess
Scion: born into one of the 13 knights bloodlines.
Heirs: ONE scion from each bloodline carries the spirit of their knight from the round table (and with it, his powers etc.) and are called heirs.
Awakened Scion: Heirs can be called on by their knights and awaken the knight’s spirit. Once awakened, the heirs inherit the powers / strengths of their knight. Their squire also receives the powers / strengths of the knight. If something were to happen to the heir, then the spirit of the knight goes to the next in the bloodline and so on. Scions are awakened in ascending order (so first the 13th knight, then the 12th, then the 11th and so on and so on). They can manipulate aether if they’re awakened.
Squire: a former onceborn who is turned into a legendborn and bounds themselves to a scion. Kinda like a parter in battle.
Merlins: magicians. Can manipulate aether. Incredibly powerful being that can compel people, alter their senses, and alter their memories.
Kingsmage: the most powerful merlin swears their loyalty to the heir to king author’s bloodline.
Vassal: onceborn families who have took a vow of servitude to one of the 13 bloodlines in exchange for ower / wealth / status. They can’t see demons or aether and don’t fight.
Pages: those who are training / competing to be squires. There are limited available squire positions. All pages are onceborns, usually vassals (because they already know about the society). They are recruited by legendborn.
[blank year] pages: the year determines how many times they’ve competed to be a squire.
Spoilery Section:
Rootcraft: a form of magik. Asks for ancestors permission to use aether aka root to perform magic with offerings. Limited power but not detrimental.
Bloodwork: a form of magik that takes aether and energy from ancestors without permission or offerings. Always comes with a price (usually a shortened lifespan).
I like how the p.s. I still love you trailer has a flashback to the first movie to recap like we haven't all watched it 3 times in a row in one sitting
I feel like Landon is way over hated. I think his reaction to finding out about Hope was completely normal. Also he loves her and he cares about Josie. He didn’t want to hurt anyone so he removed himself from the equation. He wants to find out who he is and some stuff. He feels like it’s better. And I’m tired of people hating on him. Like give him time and calm down. Anyways, anybody wanna chat about Legacies??
The hate this girl is getting is terrible. Sometimes I feel like people only liked her in season 1 because she was in a LGBT relationship. But now if people aren’t hating on her all they talk about is getting Penelope back to “save her”. Josie is SIXTEEN she’s under a lot of pressure already. She’s insecure, she worries about everyone but herself, she’s being manipulated, and worse in a few years she and her sister have to see who will win against a merge that kills the other. So lay off. She already has some type of abandonment issues of course she’s worried about Landon leaving her for Hope. That journal entry you all cheered for does not help her.
