LIFE UPDATES SINCE IVE BEEN GONE FOREVER

1) Got tickets to see Judy Collins (front row seats AND she's coming to the city closest to me!! only an 1 1/2 hour drive as opposed to the 3 1/2 hours I typically drive for even small concerts).

2) I befriended the Vice President of my college while on vacation because she noticed I was wearing a Byrds shirt and she loves The Byrds (A HUGE WIN)

3) I walked by the nightclub that "Set You Free This Time" was written at (unknowingly and then when I realized and couldn't go back I got upset)

4) I walked across Abbey Road

5) I got to sit on the lawn in front of the Eiffel Tower at sunset and then got to go to the second level while it was sparkling. It felt like a dream.

6) I got to see so many Monet and Van Gogh paintings, also got to see where Monet painted many of his.

Mainly just things I thought were cool and that I'm really excited/happy about. A glimpse into my life the past 2-3 weeks 🧡

I honestly loved exploring UK. I have hardly traveled to cities in the US (biggest city I have navigated on my own is Johnson City, TN....scary enough for me living in middle of nowhere southwestern Va) but I LOOOVED my time in the UK cities sooooo much. I especially loved London and Bath. I love getting to walk around or hop on a train/bus. I have to drive 2 hours to do anything around here (shop, have any fun, decent doctors that actually have some knowledge, etc). THE US NEEDS PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AND WALKABLE CITIES😭😭 also fuck johnson city and the tri-cities in general while I've mentioned it.....nothing is there either and I still have to drive forever to get there it feels like. I do like one thing and then leave because it's boring but at least it gives me something to do. Better than my county with 0 stores (not an exaggeration). God, I really need to move 😭😭😭
