1. On Tinder, you can set the distance and the age group of who you want to see in your feed.  On Grindr, while you can set “filters” on your grid, that doesn’t stop the people you have filtered out from contacting you.

2. On Tinder, if you swipe left on someone, they cannot contact you.  Individuals who you swipe right on will be able to contact you if they also swipe right on you.  On Grindr, anyone can contact you.

3. If you block someone on Tinder, they can only get in contact with you if you either (a) rematch if they make a new profile or (b) left a digital paper trail to your social media.  If you block someone on Grindr, they can make a new profile and continue to harass you immediately.
