He shivered in fear at the sound of it, his blade drawn and held tight to his chest as he took slow steps towards the commotion. Tears in his eyes as he took baby steps.

During their excruciating and tiring journey across Japan. Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke decided to split up for the time being. To search more and locate demons, in search to find Muzan Kibitsuji. While it sounds like a bad idea. Tanjiro and Nezuko wouldn't be deciding fight demons head on if the demon would seem to be a kizuki. Inosuke would be foolish to do so and Zenitsu's life is depends on himself.

It was just another one of those day. A boring day. It was a very nice day. Tanjiro and Nezuko were off on a mission and Inosuke handling his own mission... Yet. Zenitsu was ordered to fall behind with no other explanation.

As Zenitsu waited by a pond. It was quite. The only sounds that could be heard was the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind and the sound of splashing from the small pebbles Zenitsu tossed in.

Just as curiousity and annoyance of being held back from a mission with no reason. The sound of a single bell's was heard and a shadow looking over the crouched Zenitsu.

"So.. Your the thunder boy I've heard about hm.."

The sudden appearance of a hashira was now looming over Zenitsu as he waited by the pond. She was close but not too close. Giving him enough room to move or jump in reaction.

*During a late night watch over your and you companions camp the air grows noticeably colder and quieter, not to the point of seeing ones breath or being deathly quiet but still noticeable. A wind rushes past in an eerie whistle, ruffling dead leaves from their places on the forest floor and causing the branches of the ancient trees around you to give an echoing groan. Suddenly the feeling of being watched from somewhere past the light of the fire becomes apparent*

Oh man...why did we have to crash here for the night? And worst of all, why did I pick to be the last to be on watch!? Ooooooh!!! I should've gone first.

He whined as he sat in front of the flames, his comrades all lay sleeping around him. A sudden presence made chills run down his back, and he sat up straight before he whipped around in fear.
