I kept getting confused why everyone was celebrating Dr. Robotnik's birthday since it's actually in September and

it just occurred to me, several days later, that literally no one uses Eggman's Archie comic birthdate (9/10/something) and they use the anniversary of the first game's release

I mean sure ok that works I guess that's probably more canon than the Archie one at this point

someone should write an au where Robotnik and Stone wins and have successfully conquered the planet but it’s not from the P.O.V of either one, oh no,

it’s from the P.O.V. Of an Austrian goat farmer who’s life has not changed at all because someone really really likes their product

Turns out people really like this AU ok here have the 1000+ words I wrote this morning for the possible fic

This is a rough draft so my apologies if it’s a little ooc

(Putting it under the cut because I don’t like having to scroll through my really long posts)

That last bit isn’t actually part of the fic that was a possible lore bit for later and I was going to make it a little more serious whoops

Edit: I forgot to mention this takes place after a one-shot earlier in Lynn’s storyline where they stole stone’s (now villain stone) job before he ended up being agent stone to nab an important file on zone travel that was deleted in almost every other zone

Long story short, Robotnik found out, stole the file before Lynn had a chance, and then Lynn punched him in the face and left

maybe I’ll post it here but it’s highly unlikely

Why does this always happen

drew my own version of Villain!Stone for an AU of my AU that will likely never see the light of day but hey it was fun to draw

said AUoAU involves Lynn accidentally catching the attention of a post-sm3 grieving stone while zone hopping- said stone just decides to snatch them up and use their powers to snag another Robotnik from a zone that just straight up doesn’t have an agent stone

anyway it doesn’t end well, Robotnik has no idea what’s going on, he isn’t enough to help or fix stone’s grief because grief doesn’t work that way and Lynn is trying desperately to fix the problem without having any way to do so while secretly hoping their home zone’s versions of Robotnik and stone catch on to the fact that Lynn was kidnapped and do something about it. Maybe I’ll write it and post it here? It would be way far off in the Chaotic AU storyline like post post the Segaverse arc so spoilers ahead I guess

I mean I will be writing it that was the whole point of drawing this to begin with but I’m not sure if I should post the outline/fic or something when I’m done because of the chronological issues

just finished watching Pluto (2023) an anime on Netflix based on an Astro boy manga 10/10 I loved it I wish it wasn’t only 8 episodes but anyway

Dr. Ochanomizu is voiced by Mike Pollock and I almost didn’t catch it because he sounds too nice and normal - my first thought was ‘hmm this is a familiar voice, I wonder if they got the voice actor from the 2003 anime (the astro boy anime, not sonic X which was ironically playing at the same time) so I go and check the dubs at the very end of the episode and lo and behold it’s none other than Dr. Eggman

Anyway I think that’s what Mr. Tinker would have sounded like and he was so nice I almost cried I’m crying over a guy having range as an actor that’s a normal thing actors do

also shadow’s voice actor was there too but he had a minor role

Hi! Fun fact! Tumblr tracks your location. Like your exact fucking location.

I did not know this until five minutes ago when it listed my one and only hecking town on the hecking website

From what I can tell the only way to turn this off is to use the app (with very cumbersome mechanics for iPad/tablet users I might add) and go into privacy settings in there.

as in. YOU CANNOT TURN IT OFF ON THE WEBSITE.

Anyway I’m ticked off, almost had a heart attack stay safe out there please

Also I know this is tumblr and swears are your lifeblood but sorry for swearing either way

If someone found out how to turn it off on the website, I very much prefer using the website so please tell me

Edit: Fun fact! I just went through a litany of settings and found out that hey! I’m pretty sure Google straight up lied and the only way to stop the location tracking is to turn it off in the settings app and I’m not sure I believe that either because I had location off for websites already and tumblr got said location anyway so if you don’t mind I’ll just be in the a corner over there, crying probably
