Kisses for Crona Spinel AU

Spinel - Probably the first to be comfortable with receiving kisses. She's been alone and touch starved for who knows how long. The best times she loves to receive kisses is during, well.. anytime. As long as she's with you, she'll cling to you like a tick. Arms wrapped around your waist, constantly tugging on the hem of your shirt to get your attention. When she does, she'll either chat with you or ask for some loving. She's not too shy about asking, but it doesn't mean she's not blushing while she asks.

Her favorite kisses are all over her face. Usually prefers them in "barrages" from you wherever you could reach. The feeling is ticklish on her skin, and she can't suppress the soft laughter as you smother her. Though, it can also get a bit much for her at times when she's emotionally drained/unstable. That's when soft kisses to the bridge of her nose or on her eyelids are best at this time. Enough to ground her back with you.

Springy - Next to be comfortable with kisses. The only reason she wasn't first was, well, she can't voice her opinion about them. Usually verbal consent is a huge must for kisses, especially in such a loving fashion. It's also the reason why you got kissed by her.

While she doesn't have an actual mouth, it's more of a plastered grin - she still attempts to emulate a kiss. She'll thump her grin right against your lips, nuzzling a bit to signify this wasn't an accident. Of course, after that she's always gesturing for more. She'll tap you before pointing at her mouth, innocently cocking her head to the side in question. You can't resist that outright adorable face, so you're pretty quick in pressing kisses whenever she asks.

Her favorite kisses are probably along her jawline or in between her eyes. Being unable to move many parts of her face probably leads to some stiffness, so those kisses help direct the tension away for a little while.

Inky - She's the third to be comfortable with kisses, and it was only because of how often you hang around Spinel. If it weren't for their constant attachment to you, Inky probably wouldn't have warmed up to the idea of you. That being said, though, it takes a lot of trust building and respect earning to get Inky to even crack her demeanor around you. She's mean, she's rude, and she's blunt. There's no need for her to be making friends and stuff. Yet, the constant exposure to you and Spinel's cuddling/affection/PDA was enough to drive her crazy. First, she hated it. Despised the idea of wanting anything like that. She'd physically pry Spinel off you at times. But over the course of your time together she adjusted, slowly. Very slowly.

Now she doesn't mind a peck or two every once in awhile. She doesn't want all the cutesy, frilly smothering affection. Just a simple kiss to her cheek is enough. However, she does like the forehead kisses you offer. They're the only kisses she tolerates to linger for awhile, lips grazing softly against the solid ink-like surface. However, if your lips are stained black afterwards, she'll be laughing her ass off till it fades away.

Sharpie - The last and most difficult gal to give kisses to. Straight away the gem wants nothing to do with you, and has absolutely no cracks in her hard exterior. She's seen it all, been through it all, and honestly cares less about it all. However, what she didn't expect was the stubborn kindness and respect from you. No matter how much she backtalks, demeans, and straight up yells - you're kind in return. Even with tears in your eyes you don't raise your voice, don't argue back. You accept her feelings and give her the space no one has in awhile.

When she finally comes around to kisses, it's by accident. She was trying to hang her jacket to dry off when you called for her. Just as you peeked around the jacket she had leaned in to inspect for stains - leaving your lips colliding instead. Of course you back off immediately, apologizing for invading her space and whatever that kiss had been. However, she just dismisses it instead of growing cold as per usual. It was a small change in her behavior, but it was one that left you smiling for hours on end.

Her favorite kisses are generally hand kisses. She feels vulnerable face to face at that level of closeness, and definitely doesn't like being stifled by others. However, the gentle presses of your lips against her knuckles is just enough to show how much you love her. How much you respect her boundaries and her feelings towards affection. Which, to be frank, not many do. It's why you're the only one who is allowed to do that, even if it's a rare occasion.
