Thank you for your ask! Since it's a relatively new term, I understand the confusion; my friends on this blog had also never heard it, that is, before I explained it.

Thetas are highly intellectual and spiritual males and females. We use our intellect and spirituality to attract our mates rather than displays of dominance (i.e. Alphas) or submission. We are uncommon, but not impossible to find.
